Paris Landing stay

We wanted a short trip and short stay. We were not looking for a lot of recreational activity. This location fit that bill. The property needs some attention soon or it will fall into serious disrepair. Much needed work was being done on pier while we were there. Facets in bathroom and kitchen need simple attention. Fire pit worn out. Could use some non-slip strips on steps.Windows need cleaning. Overall, it was acceptably clean upon arrival.

Pet-Friendly Cabin on Kentucky Lake

I rented the cabin for my 2 daughters and I and our pets. We had great lake views, a beautiful and clean swimming pool, access to the lake from a dock, and kayaks were provided. We enjoyed our stay but there were a couple of things that could have been better. The cabin was dusty, the windows were dirty, and there dead bugs in the window sills. My adult daughter and I dusted and swept before we unpacked. The kitchen and bathroom were clean--but the rest of the cabin obviously hadn't had a deep clean in a while. We made a fire in the firepit every night but the firepit absolutely needs to be replaced. It is a fire hazard. The dock area needs to be maintained. We fished off the dock but it was a little scary. Having said that, our overall stay was good and I'd rent again if those issues were addressed.

Our space in Tennessee

We loved our private space. Our family of six fit well into the cabin. The scenery was great, down to the swallow's nest nestled on the porch. The area offered historical sites, hiking, and swimming at the lake or pool on site. We will definitely be back.

We loved every minute of our stay. Close restaurant with pleasant staff. Piggley Wiggley for our shopping for the week was great. We even bought tee shirts! There is alot to do in this area. Our family of six loved staying at this property.

Pet-Friendly Lake Cabin

I chose this property for 3 primary reasons--we needed to bring our pets, we wanted a swimming pool, and we wanted the inside to be more recently updated. The cabin was ideal for those priorities. The pool was beautiful and clean, we loved our lake view, and enjoyed our deck daily. But there were pain points as well. We were not satisfied with the general cleanliness of the cabin. Furniture was dusty, windows were dirty, window sills had dead bugs.Kitchen and bathroom were fine. But my daughter and I did a vacuum and dusting before we felt comfortable. The fire pit outside is a hazard and needs to be replaced immediately. We used it nightly as most lake vacationers would, and were scared it was going to collapse every night. They also need to keep the dock area in better repair and have a better set up for the kayaks. Having said that, we had a great time, took advantage of the dock for fishing, went kayaking, swimming, and exploring the area. We would be happy to rent again if the general maintenance and cleaning improve.
