What a gorgeous, quiet and relaxing setting for a weekend getaway. The upper deck of the cottage has a beautiful view. And the lake is amazing! Matthew is a great host and the communication was very timely and helpful!

Thanks for your kind words, Saleena! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. And I agree, the view from the deck is great. You were great guests who are welcome back any time.
Matthew was a great host. He was very responsive and very accommodating. The cottage is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed it's rustic maturity. We did pretty well fishing and caught several pike. The lake was very pretty and warm, which was surprising given its depth. We enjoyed the porch every morning doing crafts and playing games, and enjoyed bonfires every night. **Note - the last place to buy wood and ice on the way in is a bit far away, so load up before you go!

Why they chose this property
This is my family's cottage where I spent my summers growing up as a kid. Now that my family is older, we are opening it up to renters so that it can still be loved and appreciated.
