Situated just a stroll from the glorious Bellinger River and stunning North Beach in the heart of Mylestom, this humble home is the perfect getaway for the ultimate family holiday. Mylestom is known for its premium fishing spots, its white sandy beaches and laid back locals – come and see why families love this hidden gem located right between Brisbane and Sydney.

Sleeping 8 guests comfortably, with a roaring fireplace, open plan kitchen and living area, you will feel yourself unwind as soon as you walk in the door. Full of character and warmth, you can enjoy any of the four bedrooms, outdoor dining area with BBQ, fully fenced yard for your family pet to run around, and even two kayaks for the adventurous!

Ronnie's Cottage sleeps 8 guests:
Master Bedroom: Queen bed, built-in robes, large ensuite with spa-shaped bathtub, shower and toilet.
Second Bedroom: Queen Bed and office nook, ceiling fan
Third Bedroom: Tri bunk (double bed and single bed above), balcony out to the BBQ area.
There is another room which is shared with the laundry (which is tucked away behind doors) creating a private space opening up to the outside balcony. There is a futon couch which can be made into a single bed if required. Please advise if you would like to use this bed during your stay.

Outdoor entertaining area with dining for six, which opens up to the fully fenced garden. There is no Wi-Fi, allowing you to connect with nature and enjoy an uninterrupted holiday. Plenty of Telstra reception for hot-spotting if you really need those work emails! There is a TV/DVD player for your entertainment, and the fully equipped kitchen boasts a dishwasher with plenty of bench space for you to enjoy those home-cooked meals. Dining table seating for 8. Laundry with washing machine and dryer for your convenience and single carport out the front.

North Beach is patrolled and there is a boat ramp very close to the house – boats welcome! Only 600m to the Mylestom Bowling Club, and a 20 minute drive to Sawtell Coffs Harbour area. Pets are permitted at the Ronnie’s Cottage. A 100 per pet applies and agreement to our pet policy. Guests must advise of any pets at the time of booking. Linen and bath towels are provided, feel free to bring your own beach towels. No smoking, No parties – please respect our beautiful home and quiet neighbourhood. Ample street parking only. Not quite what we expected.

The location is great however many aspects of the property were disappointing: Basins and kitchen sink were not cleaned properly, kitchen benches also not clean. The tea towels were marked and had holes despite there being new ones in the linen closet. Fridge hadn't been cleaned either. The back deck has holes which were covered by a rug that also has holes. Two lights in the family room weren't working - we replaced the globes but one still didn't work. Doors out to the deck from a bedroom were very hard to open so had to force them open and closed as it was the only way to get fresh air into the (mouldy smelling) room. Laundry built into the wardrobe of the fourth bedroom is just plain weird! We understand the place hasn't been updated in a while, hence the price point but it has a neglected feel about it (including the back garden) which doesn't make for a good holiday.

Poorly neglected

The house was clean, but lacking cleaning materials, including dish soap. Dishes were dirty in the cupboard. No bin bags or surface spray either. Furniture is worn and broken. The back yard is unusable, just dead weeds. BBQ is rotted out and middle deck area is mouldy and gross. This one is cheap for a reason!

Great quiet location. Walking distance to the beach and river

Lots of broken old smelly furniture that is not functional I. would not book in Summer months as only two ceiling fans which do not cool the house. Location is good. Close to Urunga, Bellingen, Nambucca and Coffs.

The best location and everything I needed to regroup
