Why they chose this property
Valla Beach is a small community away from the hustle and bustle of city life on the mid north coast of NSW just north of Nambucca Heads and to the south of Coffs Harbour. Our children grew up playing in the waves, creating amazing sandcastles, learning to surf, fossicking for beach treasure in the dunes, exploring the rock platform, paddling in Deep Creek, riding bikes, scooters, and skateboards around the safe family-friendly neighbourhood. We love the easy-going beachside lifestyle, the friendliness of the people and the beauty of the natural environment. We know you’ll love it too.
North Valla Beach is a 5.2km long stretch of pure white sand from Wenonah Head in the north to Valla Head in the south. North Valla Beach is the perfect location for an early morning jog, walk, bike ride, swim or for simply watching the dolphin pods cruising the beach.
In whale watching season, Jones Park is the perfect spot to picnic while checking out the humpbacks on their annual migrations.
North Valla Beach can be accessed on foot (or pushbike) from Tallulah via a forest track through Jagun Nature Reserve to "Humpty's" beach access. If accessibility is a problem for your family members there are various alternative access points to the beach. Parking is available at the end of Cockburn Street. Beach access for vehicles with a beach driving permit is via the unsealed paperbark forest track accessed from the Cockburn Street car parking area.
South Valla Beach is accessed via Valla Beach Road and has a car parking area, public toilets and picnic facilities. It is a south-east facing beach with the entrance to Deep Creek at the southern end. South Valla Beach is patrolled during the Christmas holidays.

The majestic Nunguu Mirral (the special place of the golden kangaroo) (Pickett Hill) is the mountain that you can see to the north of Tallulah over our rooftop. Nunguu Mirral holds special spiritual and cultural importance for the first people of this land.
