We love this house, second tie we've stayed here. So comfortable, home from home, and it's wonderful to find a dog friendly house in walking distance to a dog friendly beach, in a village with good facilities
Really enjoyable stay Beautiful welcoming home and good kitchen and laundry facilities The bbq on the spacious deck was o easy to cook on situated right at the kitchen door so convenient The house was so clean and beautifully decorated and felt like a friends guest house
The host was very friendly, communicated well and the house was amazing! Gorgeous verandah, beautiful lounge, wonderful atmosphere and great location! Thanks Gaz
Tallulah is an exceptional home. We felt it was so welcoming . Comfortably and extremely well furnished. We were 'at home' instantly. Beautiful location. It was all we could have asked for - and more, and to be able to bring our dogs was so special. A great place to make memories. Thank you.
The property was lovely, really nice place for our family holiday, my dog enjoyed the yard and the kids had a great time. Excellent location, easy walk to the beach. Gaz was very friendly and helpful, and easy to get in contact with. I would definitely recommend this holiday house!
The house is fantastic and in a great location. Lots of beautiful touches in the house including supplies in the pantry, plenty of towels and body wash. Lots of space for everyone and very clean. Gaz was excellent in his communications. We will be back!
Great place to chill out for our weekend away. Place is located at the top of the street allowing for excellent airflow on the hotter days, the wraparound verandah is a great place to entertain and have a bbq.
10/10, would stay here again.
We absolutely love Tallulah. This was our second stay and for an inner Sydney living family Tallulah is the perfect antidote to city living - Long stretches of dog friendly beaches, welcoming local community and a 180 degree deck to chase either the sun or the shade. A prefect place to unwind.
I enjoyed my stay at Tallulah, a beautiful home in a lovely village. The beach was my companion, and the afternoon breeze a delight! Hope to visit again and continue the beachcomber life.
Very sweet Queensland style cottage which was great for a weekend away. The beach was a short walk away and being dog friendly and off leash the dogs loved.
From the moment you arrive at Tallulah is feels like home. So comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Even with set in rain, the large smart TV kept us amused and the large rooms allowed us the space to lounge around.
My family stayed here for a week and we all had a wonderful relaxing beach holiday. Would definitely stay again. We had a wide range of ages from 21 to 82 yrs and a dog and everyone loved it. Such a great location close to everything but tucked away in a quiet spot near the beach. Lots of areas to play games, read a book, take a nap, have a wine and just unwind. Absolutely beautiful holiday house. Highly recommended 😊
Gaz offered to change dates given the flooding situation down south which was super nice of him, it wasn't required due to coffs flights work around but it was reallyaappreciated as a guesture. place is nice, quiet, clean, we were very happy, thank you Dam
A wonderful stay in ideal relaxing environment.
Even my husband who never relaxes turned a complete about face and shocked everyone with his change in attitude. We loved the beautiful sun drenched verandahs.
Definitely rebooking

Tallulah was the perfect 2 weeks stay for our family of 5, including adult and teenage kids and a very energetic puppy. There were spaces to relax for us all, and the wide, expansive verandah was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon siesta - whether chasing the sun or seeking shade. A short walk to a fantastic off-leash beach to get the puppy squiggles out, and loads of nearby sightseeing made our holiday the perfect mix of activities and relaxation. All holiday needs were met!
We were grateful for the host's helpful communication and tips throughout our stay.
We hope to stay again!
Had a fantastic summer holiday at Tallulah. The house is spacious, airy and beautiful, very well appointed and comfortable. Area new to us but we’ll definitely return - Valla Beach a cute village with great beaches; one wonderful long dog friendly strand and some human only great swimming beaches, and Nambucca Heads an old fashioned holiday town with excellent facilities & less holiday crowding than manyTons to do in the area too, in the hinterland - rainforest national parks, town of.Bellingen etcWe’d love to return. So rare to find a great pet friendly house in a great pet friendly location
Perfect setting for a relaxing family retreat over the Easter week. The house was perfect for our family of 6 including our two adult boys an d one fiancé plus our groodle. Long walks everyday along the pristine north Valla beach, or along the V wall in Nambucca. Only a short drive from. Urunga, Bellingen Dorigo and Coffs. The house was well appointed and perfect for our stu. Gaz was very responsive and easy to deal with. Thank hon !
I got lost in the bath and slept like a Queen. Woke to the chorus of birdsong and rocked in the breeze. Blown away at the beach and morning coffee never tasted as good as it did on that veranda with its gentle rustling of palms. What a beautiful captivating home. Simple blissful. Thank you for the memories Tallulah. Forgetting you would be like forgetting my name!
What a lovely home that just oozes “relax”! Lots of different outside areas to relax in. The whole place is just cozy! Well set up and a big smart TV. Ideal for families or a couple with dogs! We have 2 small dogs and they were totally secured in the yard. It is very close to an amazing park for kids with even a skate board park; the beach has great swimming and long walks; 2 delicious cafes and the pub had trivia night while we were there. The whole little town is adorable with wide streets and plenty of beach’s!Thank you Gaz for giving us the opportunity to stay there. It’s really peaceful.
Absolutely gorgeous house in quiet location. The verandah alone makes you want to relax. Very well appointed, had everything we needed. Gaz is the perfect host.
Short easy walk to the pristine Valla Beach which is off leash for dogs. Perfect family/pup holiday vacay location.

Why they chose this property
Valla Beach is a small community away from the hustle and bustle of city life on the mid north coast of NSW just north of Nambucca Heads and to the south of Coffs Harbour. Our children grew up playing in the waves, creating amazing sandcastles, learning to surf, fossicking for beach treasure in the dunes, exploring the rock platform, paddling in Deep Creek, riding bikes, scooters, and skateboards around the safe family-friendly neighbourhood. We love the easy-going beachside lifestyle, the friendliness of the people and the beauty of the natural environment. We know you’ll love it too.
North Valla Beach is a 5.2km long stretch of pure white sand from Wenonah Head in the north to Valla Head in the south. North Valla Beach is the perfect location for an early morning jog, walk, bike ride, swim or for simply watching the dolphin pods cruising the beach.
In whale watching season, Jones Park is the perfect spot to picnic while checking out the humpbacks on their annual migrations.
North Valla Beach can be accessed on foot (or pushbike) from Tallulah via a forest track through Jagun Nature Reserve to "Humpty's" beach access. If accessibility is a problem for your family members there are various alternative access points to the beach. Parking is available at the end of Cockburn Street. Beach access for vehicles with a beach driving permit is via the unsealed paperbark forest track accessed from the Cockburn Street car parking area.
South Valla Beach is accessed via Valla Beach Road and has a car parking area, public toilets and picnic facilities. It is a south-east facing beach with the entrance to Deep Creek at the southern end. South Valla Beach is patrolled during the Christmas holidays.
What makes this property unique
Valla Beach has a rich indigenous history with many sites of cultural significance and importance to the Gumbaynggirr People. The majestic Nunguu Mirral (the special place of the golden kangaroo) (Pickett Hill) is the mountain that you can see to the north of Tallulah over our rooftop. Nunguu Mirral holds special spiritual and cultural importance for the first people of this land.
The largest regional centre, Coffs Harbour, is just 30 minutes north of Valla Beach. Coffs Harbour has thriving banana growing and blueberry industries. The wider region is known as the Bananacoast.
The Big Banana is a tourist attraction and amusement park featuring the Racer 82m water slide, laser tag, mini golf, ice skating, a theatre providing an educational experience, and a toboggan ride and a water park.
Coffs Harbour has an airport that services Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The airport is approx. 30 minute drive from Tallulah.
Make sure you take a trip inland to the famed artisan town of Bellingen and gorgeous surrounds like the Promised Lands and Never Never Creek. The World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforests and breathtaking waterfalls of Dorrigo National Park is just an hour away.
The seaside villages of Urunga and Sawtell north of Valla Beach offer more beautiful beaches, great cafes, boutiques, local produce and coastal walks.
