Perfect accommodation

What an amazing apartment! The view was to die for, amazing location, and very spacious. We had 6 adults and there was room for everyone on the veranda, lounge and dining. Kitchen and bedrooms spacious as well. Highly recommended and would certainly return!

Great location but needs updating

The location and views of this apartment are fantastic, however the interior furniture and fittings unfortunately let the property down. My understanding of a 'penthouse' is the epitome of a life filled with luxury, however the furniture is old, torn and outdated. The kitchen had no matching cutlery and crockery - broken glass coffee plunger and only 2 wine glasses. Exposed wiring in the tv, several wall sockets that are broken or give shocks. The bedrooms were not vacuumed properly, fans dusty and the bathroom vent clogged with dirt. Value for money in off season, however would only stay again if interior is upgraded.

Hi Jane-Louise, Thank you for taking the time to review Craigmore Penthouse, this is probably the most popular holiday rental in town because of the views and the price. It is classed as the 'penthouse' because it is on the top floor and is two units combined instead of the smaller single units downstairs. You would have had to have seen the pictures of the property when you booked so your understanding of what a 'Penthouse' is and what you actually knew you were booking are two totally different things so I fail to see why that was mentioned in your review as it is not really constructive criticism. We are more than happy on arrival to send the cleaner up if there is anything that has been missed and needs attending too i.e. sweeping a floor or dusting a fan but were not informed on your stay that these were issues. I agree the leather lounge is worn, but found ample wine glasses and yes there was abundant cutlery and crockery not all matching but sparkling clean and functional.
