Vacation just 2/10 of a mile from Short Sands beach, shops and restaurants at this cozy, spotless and immaculate 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home!

Recent renovations include updating kitchen cabinets, new quartz countertops and a new side patio & front porch!

First level offers open floor plan so you can be in the heart of the action whether you’re cooking, dining or relaxing. The second level contains all the bedrooms (sleeps 8) and a full bath.

Amenities include gas grill, outdoor shower, window AC's, washer/dryer, WiFi internet, cable TV, Smart TV, dishwasher, and 2 coffee makers (Keurig and traditional pot). Off street parking for 2 large vehicles. Second floor deck with peek-a-boo view of the ocean, first floor 3 season sitting room with futon couch, outdoor patio and outdoor front porch.

While pillows and blankets are provided, bed linens/sheets are NOT. Guests must bring their own or utilize a local linen rental service at their own expense. Bath and beach towels are available for use but must be washed and dried prior to check out otherwise a fee will be deducted from the security deposit.

Please be advised that there is a security camera and motion activated lights positioned outside on the side of the house that overlooks the driveway.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash & dry bath and beach towels if you utilized them (ie you did not bring your own or rent from an outside service company).
Log out of apps on SmartTV if you logged in.
Close and lock windows.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guests who use house towels are required to wash and dry all towels prior to check out. A fee will be deducted from the deposit if not followed.
We do NOT provide bed sheets. Guests must bring their own or order through a 3rd party linen rental company at their own expense prior to arrival.
If outdoor gas grill is not reasonably cleaned of excess food, a $50 deduction from the security deposit will be imposed.

Hidden Gem in Short Sands

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and stocked with everything you could need—fully equipped kitchen, games, and books for downtime. Check-in was seamless, and Mark was proactive and clear in his communication throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to all that Short Sands has to offer, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot that made for a truly restful getaway. ANOTHER AMAZING FAMILY VACATION

This was our second year at this property. We fell in love with this area of Maine last year and hopefully will make this a yearly tradition for our family. The house is perfect for us and being able to wander down to the beach with a hot cup of coffee in the morning is awesome. Mark is a great host, great communication, just couldn't be happier that we found his place. Great house, great location, great host. What more could we ask for. Thanks again Mark. Walking distance from the beach, cute space, but note it's quite musty in the bedrooms, coordination over the phone with the owner is required, it's BYO sheets, and you must wash and dry towels (with a 10am check out) else $100 fine.

We have never had any complaints of an odor in the home. Any renter should want to speak to the owner directly to safeguard against the numerous vacation scams that are out there. Our house rules in regard to bed sheets and towels are clearly stated in our listing and are part of the rental agreement at the time of booking. Guests always have the option to utilize a local linen rental service if they so desire.

Absolutely loved this property. The location was superb. A short walk to the beach, restaurants, arcade. Some favorite features include the outdoor shower and the balcony which gets afternoon shade and has a view that includes a peak of the ocean, making it a perfect for afternoon cocktails! The window AC units kept the place comfortable. I wish I had noticed in the listing that linens weren’t included but we realized early enough to grab some from Target which was about 15 minutes away. Would certainly stay here again!
