Rhumb on Inn!

What could be a better way to spend time with family than during a relaxing beach vacation! We are new to the Wells market but are experienced hosts. For reviews of our other property, check out Home Away property # 4699278

Pamper you and your family in this beautiful 4 bedroom home with stunning ocean views. Steps away from the ocean and right on the Rachel Carson estuary, you are right in the middle of all the vacation activities while still having your own piece of solitude to unwind on your vacation.

Windows abound on the second floor main living area, you will have spectacular views while preparing your lobster dinner in the gourmet kitchen or sitting down in the dining room to enjoy it. Head to the living room with beautiful cathedral ceilings and more than 180 degree views of the marsh and Altantic.

Four bedrooms will comfortably sleep 12 people - enough for two families to create and share a annual experience for years to come. The first floor has a master suite with king bed as well as a nicely appointed queen bedroom. There is also an awesome children's bedroom that has a double/twin bunk configuration with a trundle.

Perfection

We came for Christmas Stroll in Kennebunkport. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The views from the house were amazing! This home exceeded our expectations and the home owners were really great at communicating with us from beginning to end.

Girls Weekend!

We had a wonderful time at the Rhumb on Inn! A view from just about every room. Kitchen was updated and great to cook in. Awesome living room and wrap around deck. Short walk to the beach. Will book again!

A fun and cozy long weekend away!

We had such a fun time staying at the house. It was beautiful, clean and had great views! The main living area was so cozy for games and movies while sitting by the fire. Sunrises were beautiful in the mornings and we enjoyed walking to the sea wall. We also had a fire outside one of the nights with smores for the kids. Tracy and Joe were excellent hosts and very responsive if we needed anything. The location is perfect.. close to the beach, Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Would love to get back there again!!

Annual Girls Weekend

8 friends stayed for 3 nights. Plenty of room to spread out and catch up. Views of the marsh and ocean were fantastic. We shopped in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Walked the Marginal Way. Kitchen was very well equipped. Highly recommend!

Perfect Spor

Perfect spot!

We arrived at about 7:15 on a Friday evening and could let ourselves into the house. We had some questions when we first arrived and Joe answered right away and was so kind and responsive!! Tracy checked in during the weekend stay to make sure everything was going well and made sure that we were comfortable. The house itself is beautiful and the views are truly unmatched! The family loved it and it was truly a slice of heaven! I cannot wait to rent again!

Christmas weekend trip

Three friends and I stayed at this beautiful home for the Ogunquit Christmas By the Sea weekend. We were four miles from downtown Ogunquit and a stones throw from the ocean. The back yard is a marsh with lots of open space. Our first morning we had six deer in the marsh for our breakfast view. We all had a wonderful time and would love to go back next year.

Amazing Property

What an amazing stay for a long weekend. Beautiful views, clean, quiet, short walk to the beach, and especially well equipped. The location is perfect for a short drive to Kennebunkport, Moody, and Ogunquit. The house itself is amazing, plenty of space inside and out. The host was fantastic. I highly recommend!

Perfect place for a Retreat.

A group of girlfriends and I came together for a weekend retreat. Everyone raved about the house we selected. The owners were very responsive and checked in to make sure that everything was going well. The location was beautiful with a short walk to the beach. The house was clean, bright and comfortable The women also appreciated all of the bathrooms, 😆 We had a fabulous day, and will definitely come again.

Beach oasis

Gorgeous house with all the amenities you need, and more! House was beautiful, loved the fire pit and easy walk to ocean. It felt like you were at your own home. Easily fit 8 adults, we will be back!

This home has amazing views of Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. Super quiet, you can watch the sunrise on the front deck, and the sunset on the back patio. Close to Ogunquit beaches. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot very close to the water

The home is gorgeous and just as pictured in all the photos. The views from all the windows are spectacular. There was plenty of space for 4 friends on a mom's getaway weekend. The location is close to many restaurants, even in the colder months when some places are closed for the summer. We had an absolute blast and I would for sure stay again during colder months. The hosts were very good at communicating with me and even allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated. One thing to note - the listing says the home is steps from the beach but that is inaccurate. It is true you can walk just a few steps to the end of the road and be right by the ocean. There is a road/wall you can walk along but no sand or beach area. If you walk a little further down (heading north) there is a small boat launch area with some rocks and small sandy area where you can sit on the rocks but again not a beach. For us this was not a problem at all because we weren't planning for beach days in November. If it was summer I would have been disappointed because we would have had to drive to Wells Beach with all our stuff, park, etc. During our stay we did drive to Wells Beach for a beach walk and it is one of the most gorgeous and pristine beaches around. Perfect!

Easy, Breezy, Clean and comfortable

Our multi-generational family stayed at Rhumb-on-Inn for a our son’s wedding weekend . It was very comfortable and clean and the bedroom set-up was perfect for us. Everything was as described and the hosts Tracy and Joe were incredibly accommodating! The views of the marsh in autumn and the ocean are a bonus! Highly recommended!!
