Rhumb on Inn!

What could be a better way to spend time with family than during a relaxing beach vacation! We are new to the Wells market but are experienced hosts. For reviews of our other property, check out Home Away property # 4699278

Pamper you and your family in this beautiful 4 bedroom home with stunning ocean views. Steps away from the ocean and right on the Rachel Carson estuary, you are right in the middle of all the vacation activities while still having your own piece of solitude to unwind on your vacation.

Windows abound on the second floor main living area, you will have spectacular views while preparing your lobster dinner in the gourmet kitchen or sitting down in the dining room to enjoy it. In house chef dinner is also available upon request (availability dependent) Head to the living room with beautiful cathedral ceilings and more than 180 degree views of the marsh and Atlantic.

Four bedrooms will comfortably sleep 12 people - enough for two families to create and share a annual experience for years to come. The first floor has a master suite with king bed as well as a nicely appointed queen bedroom. There is also an awesome children's bedroom that has a double/twin bunk configuration with a trundle.

Great beach access

The property was spacious and less than a 10 minute walk to beach access. We had 7-10 people staying on any given night and there was plenty of space. Plenty of storage, options to cook and rooms to stay in. Second floor deck with a view of the marsh and the ocean were amazing.

Friend reunion

We stayed here for an annual reunion of dear friends. The house is lovely, and the views across the bird sanctuary are spectacular. We walked to Wells Beach from the house- about a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed lounging together in the living room and enjoying the view.

We had a wonderful time at the Rhumb on Inn! A view from just about every room. Kitchen was updated and great to cook in. Awesome living room and wrap around deck. Short walk to the beach. Will book again!

We loved staying at this house—the description of the house was spot on. Location is great. Plenty of space and beds. Well stocked. Clean, convenient to a lot, and great value. It was an amazing place for a group of friends on our weekend trip. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had eight adult members of our family in the area for my son's wedding and a few others who dropped by for morning brunches. We all thoroughly enjoyed this house and its wonderful views of the vast marsh and the ocean beyond. Every day we walked five minutes to the ocean and then along the ocean to Crescent beach and often went the extra mile to Wells beach. Clean and well equipped. The outdoor fireplace on the marsh was great. One small suggestion: small lamps on both sides of beds, useful for couples who both like to read at night. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Annual Girls Weekend

8 friends stayed for 3 nights. Plenty of room to spread out and catch up. Views of the marsh and ocean were fantastic. We shopped in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Walked the Marginal Way. Kitchen was very well equipped. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, Great space for families!

The house is beautiful, 100 yards from the ocean and just minutes away from dining another fun adventures. Right around the corner from a supermarket, general store, and a local brewery. The community family games saved our Friday afternoon/night due to the inclement weather… And they had some fun ones (awkward family photos game was great). We were just in town for a wedding but we hope to be back.

Perfect spot!

We arrived at about 7:15 on a Friday evening and could let ourselves into the house. We had some questions when we first arrived and Joe answered right away and was so kind and responsive!! Tracy checked in during the weekend stay to make sure everything was going well and made sure that we were comfortable. The house itself is beautiful and the views are truly unmatched! The family loved it and it was truly a slice of heaven! I cannot wait to rent again!

Heaven in Wells

The property was better than we expected. The owners were extremely responsive. The check-in and check-out process were very easy. The owners left a book with laminated pages with all of the information about the property - more than we could have asked for. Despite the fact that we stayed during the winter months - we were warm and cozy in a house full of windows with beautiful views. We requested permission to host Christmas dinner at the house with my parents and my sister and her kids. There was more than enough room for all 15 of us to have a quiet Christmas dinner. The kitchen supplies were sufficient for cooking. I love that they allow guests to leave non-perishables - when we arrived there were still somethings from the last guests. We also left things like toilet paper, plastic utensils, trash bags etc. We will absolutely stay here again when visiting Maine. I highly recommend this location and these owners!

Great Spot

Owners were very communicative. The house is great and has everything you need. There are 4 bikes, 5 chairs, a beach cart, toys, etc. Beach was a about a ten min walk and you can see the ocean from the deck. Coffee, ice cream, pastry shops all are within a 15 min walk from the house. One con the upstairs loft opens to the living room essentially shutting down that area when everyone goes to bed. Great spot though. Would love to come back.

A fun and cozy long weekend away!

We had such a fun time staying at the house. It was beautiful, clean and had great views! The main living area was so cozy for games and movies while sitting by the fire. Sunrises were beautiful in the mornings and we enjoyed walking to the sea wall. We also had a fire outside one of the nights with smores for the kids. Tracy and Joe were excellent hosts and very responsive if we needed anything. The location is perfect.. close to the beach, Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Would love to get back there again!!

Christmas weekend trip

Three friends and I stayed at this beautiful home for the Ogunquit Christmas By the Sea weekend. We were four miles from downtown Ogunquit and a stones throw from the ocean. The back yard is a marsh with lots of open space. Our first morning we had six deer in the marsh for our breakfast view. We all had a wonderful time and would love to go back next year.
