Very pet friendly with dog bowls set out in foyer for our arrival. Our one-year-old kelpie loved the fenced yard doing lots of zoomies everyday. The picket fence is only about 1m high but kept our dog in. Great stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Very comfy beds. Lovely accomodating hosts.
Property had all I needed for myself and my dog. It was warm and cozy. Good size yard. Fencing isn't high but my dog doesn't jump so it was all good. Nice walk nearby wombat Hill and easy walk to railway markets. Quiet location. I would stay there again.
Lovely place close to Wombat Hill.
The property is clean, neat and homely.
Amenities/facilities provided were more than adequate for the needs of myself, three other adults and the family dog.
Good get away from city life.
Zoran has been very helpful throughout our stay. Had a bit of difficulty contacting or communicating with Zoran before we checked in. Apart from that satisfied with overall condition and the service.
Very convenient location. Close to all amenities
Everything was great however the lack of data in the area was problematic. If wifi was availabe as well as a smart tv it would have been overall better.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Plenty of room for all
I was t given the code to get the key and had to call the property manager, which was a little disappointing. We were given only 4 small towels and no hand towels or bath mats and needed to call to get some delivered. The place that the ad says provides free internet we’re super weird about me being there for their internet, it was a fair distance from the property (not walking distance) & their internet didn’t even work. At all. If one of the teens that came with me wasn’t willing to hot spot for me, I would have been completely uncontactable to the outside world. Much to do with my phone provider but just an eye opener to how isolating it could be.
The house was absolutely freeeezing but the one gas heater in the lounge did a pretty good job! There was only one small pot there to use which made it hard to cook pasta for more than 2 people, so I op shopped and bought one and left it there haha
Beds were extremely comfortable. The place was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was renovated and very nice. The backyard was nice for the kids to explore.
Overall a positive stay for us. Would stay again.

Thanks for taking the time to review your stay.
Your booking was made through Vrbo and we are experiencing some issues with the Vrbo app and booking system as it doesn't notify us of guests information or contact details in an easily accessible format. This is a process we are working to rectify and improve so thankyou for bringing this to our attention.
Regarding the towels, the guests contacted us by SMS and the towels were immediately delivered to the front of the door as requested.
The listing states that internet is not easily attainable at the cottage. This is due to the mobile connection (through Optus and Telstra) being more readily available than wifi connection.
It does get mighty cold in Daylesford! The listing also specifies 3 different types of heating: central heating, gas heating in living room and wood stove in the kitchen/living area.
Thankyou for you suggestion regarding having bigger pots etc for cooking needs. We'll be onto that!
We'd like to offer you a free night of accommodation with your next booking at the cottage to thankyou for your beneficial comments! Please get in contact with us to organise.
The property was exactly how it was advertised, it was clean, homey, and warm. It felt like a stay away from home. Zoran was so helpful, even when I couldn't work out how to turn the heating on! Thank you, we will be back.
The house is situated on the hill next to the Botanical gardens. It has plenty of room with comfortable lounges, chairs and beds. Good kitchen. Washing machine is very handy. Central heating kept us warm as the weather was cold.
The cottage was cute and we stayed nice and warm with the ducted heating. The mattress in the main bedroom was one of the comfiest I’ve slept on. The best thing was being able to bring our cat with us. Thank you Zoran for providing a cat friendly space.
