We were greeted by the hosts, and the house was immaculate very clean. It was too cold to do any of the boating activities but if you want a quiet getaway to unwind and relax, that’s a perfect house to do it in, although we texted the host when we left, we never heard back from them to tell them personally, that we enjoyed our stay, but I would highly recommend.

perfect!
We (extended family of about 27, (including 5 little ones) stayed at all 7 cottages and the Church house for a weeklong family gathering post our son's wedding in Phila. Every single thing about the accommodations, location, hosts, setting was perfect. each family had the space they needed and we also were able to gather for family meals on the porch of the big house in the evening. Folks were well occupied fishing, lounging, and hiking while we also had plenty of relaxed time to simply connect amidst the calming and sweet landscape. Val and Ross were extremely responsive and attentive hosts and shared stories that gave the place a sense of meaning. Now, with the next generation growing into young families, it was the ideal way to holiday together without being in one another's way. Can't say enough about the thought and care that went into every element of the resort, bravo...well done!
We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. The house and the property were excellent. (The ducks were cute and fun to watch while having our morning coffee on the porch.)
Close access to a lot of great activities. Can't wait to go back.
We needed a relaxing getaway and that’s exactly what we got here! The hosts were wonderful, the cottage was perfect and felt brand new, and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful! Just what we needed !
Very new cottages with quality furnishing and amenities. Good location for visiting the ski resorts, the historic towns and many eastern PA attractions. There are many dining options within 20-30 min. If you want to cook, they have what you need. Hiking the AT or many local trails is very close including a local trail leaving from the property.
The pictures include aerial views showing the multiple cottages on-site. If you have one in mind, contact the owners and they will help make sure you get exactly what you want. They are very helpful and have built a great getaway.
Our favorite diversion was Blue Ridge Winery. Good wine, food, live music and more.
An exceptional stay in new, modern cottage on 50 acres near the Delaware Water Gap and Jim Thorpe. The Blakeslee’s are terrific hosts who take great care and pride in their cottages, the ponds and the entire surrounding land. Easy access and secluded without feeling isolated. Definitely recommend staying in any of the properties.

Perfect place to stay for our family reunion
I had a family reunion in the area, and Split Creek Preserve made the weekend just perfect. The cottage was so comfortable, and I was amazed by the kitchen amenities -- I cook a lot, and boy, it's not often you find a kitchen so well-stocked! Make sure you check out the trout ponds and make friends with the ducks -- the white ones are pretty tame and friendly. The porch has a great view of the ponds and birds. We got quite a wildlife show one morning, when an osprey flew down and caught a trout, and swooped around for a few minutes overhead, until he caught an updraft to a high branch. Then he went to town enjoying his lunch! That was great. Look out for the bald eagles, herons, wild ducks and more. Just a beautiful place and I look forward to coming back for a longer stay sometime. Thanks so much!
