Check in was quick and easy. The home is spacious and welcoming and our family enjoyed our stay. The beach is a quick and easy walk and we loved our own dock and the supplied beach toys (kayaks and a paddle board plus more!)

Booked last minute as Air Canada cancelled our flights due to the strike. Needed to salvage our vacation and found this fabulous property that could accommodate our family as well as another family that we were travelling with. Very clean spacious home with lots of things to keep us busy as well as great location close to everything! Would stay here again in the future, we loved it!

Great location, great cottage

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The place was so well kitted out, few mins walk to the lake and option of hot tub back at the cottage. The facilities were too noch, plenty of cottage games to lake toys. Would thoroughly recommended it!

beautiful spacious clean comfortable modern cottage home.there isn't a view of the lake from the cottage. lake access is very good through a short path.excellent location within gravenhurst to be able to walk to waterfront trails and short drive to public tennis courts, basketball court and shops

Bedrock Cottage

I had come up with friends from Ottawa to golf the Muskoka area. Our hosts were amazing. Everything about the cottage was as seen on the ad. The pictures don’t justify how great the place is and the lake front area of the property was stunning. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming up to the area.

The overall home was very nice and well equipped specifically the upstairs social area. The grounds however were poorly kept and two specific gripes were not readily evident from the online listing. 1) the proximity of the backyard patio to neighbouring homes, one of which was actively under construction. The back patio is within a few meters of the boarding fence on which the other side is direct view from back windows to a lived in home and a new built for which every morning and into the later evening was hammering and construction noise. 2) the dock and waterfront area is quite a distant away from the home and requires a treacherous walk through a ravined area to access. This was not possible to attempt for my mother with mobility challenges.

This is not a cottage on the lake. It is a house in town surrounded by other houses. The law is a difficult and unpleasant walk and makes it difficult to come and go the house for refreshments etc. there is no view other than other houses and also in a construction zone with too much construction noise. The only good thing is space if you need rooms but the home does not feel like a nation place. The deck is very old and dirty with bad furniture. Furnitures and beddings and utensils are very old and dated . The house is very dark inside and depressive. There is no sandy beach it is mud and also not private all houses nearby have access and there is a very narrow deck on law making it difficult to enjoy sun or swimming area. It is also very close to the Muskoka Wharf so you get dirty water and too much noise and activity from tourist steamboats. I would not call this a cottage at all or vacation place. The firepit also not usable as next to neighbors fence there is no feel of nature wilderness you are in town. Close to high street if this is what you want.For the bedding, it is all terrible quality polyester and itchy and not feels good when sleeping. No soap, no shampoo no nothing extra provided . Garbage was all over the garden when we arrived and deck was full of raccoon poop.Main room large sofa is broken like many other things . TV no channels. Outside eating area at the bak and looking to neighbours fence. Not recommended for the price charged.
