Pet-friendly villa centralized in the heart of Palmetto Dunes, this top floor beach condo of a 2 story building is within walking distance of all outdoor activities as well as restaurants, the general store, and most importantly...the beach! Linens and towels provided!

Our beautifully updated 2 BR villa sleeps 8 and features 2 large decks off the bedrooms that are accessible from both the living room and bedrooms. While enjoying your morning coffee on our heavy-duty Adirondack chairs, you can watch kayakers go by from the 11-mile lagoon system that runs throughout Palmetto Dunes.
The living room features large windows overlooking the lagoon with new seating to relax & unwind or watch TV on our 65" Smart TV. There is a Queen-sized sofa sleeper for additional guests with linens and towels provided. In the living area, there is a new dining table that seats 6 and 3 bar stools at the kitchen counter for additional seating.
The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances, a Keurig Mini, and plenty of storage with all your needs in mind! If you have plans to cook or entertain your family & friends, you will find almost everything that you could wish for! Off the kitchen, there is a third full bathroom with a brand new shower and stackable washer and dryer.

Both bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms. The first bedroom has a plush king-sized bed with a Smart TV, plenty of closet space, and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom features 2 queen-sized beds, a desk, and a Smart TV with an ensuite bath with tub/shower combo. There is a full bath located by the entryway with a walk-in shower and a full size stackable washer & dryer.

The beach is a quick walk through the parking lot and to the right for those who can't wait to swim, sunbathe, collect seashells, or build sandcastles on the miles of pristine beaches and sand dunes for which South Carolina is famous. You will find outdoor showers and a boardwalk to the beach next to the to The Dunes House. Within Palmetto Dunes you will also find three championship golf courses, including the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, as well as a world-class tennis and pickleball center. The tennis center is rated #1 in the Carolinas by Tennis World and in the top 25 in the world by Tennis Resorts Online. Several courts are lighted for nighttime enjoyment. Camps and lessons are offered for those who wish to learn or improve their skills.

Explore Palmetto Dunes' 50 miles of protected trails for walking, jogging, or biking. Kayak or canoe your way around the calm 11-mile saltwater lagoon. Bikes, kayaks, beach wagons, and sporting equipment can be easily rented across the street at Hilton Head Outfitters. The Dunes Buggy is a complimentary shuttle service (subject to resort availability) for those who prefer to catch a ride to destinations within Palmetto Dunes. The Dunes Buggy runs from April through September from 8 am-9 pm.

This beautiful villa is also located near virtually endless recreational and entertainment possibilities for those who wish to enjoy all that Hilton Head Island has to offer: fishing and crabbing excursions, water sports (e.g., skiing, sailing, paddle boarding, and surfing), helicopter tours, zip-lining, professionally guided nature tours, dolphin cruises, shopping, restaurants, and more. Please Note: We provide starter amenities upon check-in. This includes one set of bath towels for each guest, travel-size bathroom toiletries & two(2) toilet paper rolls for each bathroom. Beds will be made for you with one(1) set of clean bed linens for each bed. In the kitchen, you will find starter packs of laundry & dish detergent, dish soap, one(1) paper towel roll, coffee filters and trash bags, and a dishtowel. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils, appliances, and dinnerware.

Parking Pass information: 2 Parking Passes are included with your reservation. Stays over 7 nights will incur an additional charge.

***IMPORTANT***No Smoking. No Parties. Please enjoy yourself and treat our home like you would treat your own. Do not take furniture out of the home or move it from one room or floor to another. NO RV's, sprinter vans or shuttles. No motorcycles or trailers are allowed on the property. Bikes must be secured. Only The Moorings parking passes are permitted in Moorings parking lot. Other vehicles with passes from different complexes are subject to a citation or tow.

Guest Access:
Key code access will be provided in the days prior to your arrival for seamless check-in. Parking pass must be displayed in vehicle throughout your stay in Palmetto Dunes. If you will need more than two parking passes, please contact your host. The additional passes will be $30 each and charged separately.

Getting Around:
The villa is located in the beautiful Palmetto Dunes. Easy bike ride or walk to the beach. The resort has miles of bike paths, sidewalks and lagoon access for kayaking! The mid-island location is close to restaurants, shopping and the beach by vehicle or The Dunes Buggy shuttle service seasonally.

Other Things to Note:
Palmetto Dunes Resort does not permit RV's, Shuttles, or trailers. No logo or commercial signage vehicles permitted overnight.

Bugs
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.

According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”

If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we'll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!

Please don't worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You'll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it's not unusual to see some and it doesn't mean the home isn't well looked after!
