Spacious 2 Bedroom cottage with Awesome Mountain view. Adjacent to Brook House B&B. Cottage 2 provides a peaceful enviroment for those that want "to do their own thing" 2 car parks provided.
Completely self contained with full kitchen and Laundry. Large sunny deck with an uninterrupted view of the Seaward Kaikoura Mountains. The cottage is not completely fenced but you are welcome to bring your pet if it is well behaved ( please bring pets bedding)

A Gem of a Place

The house is in very peaceful surroundings with a stunning view of the mountains. The house is very comfortable and stocked with everything one can possibly need from a "home away from home" We'll be back!!

Great place for Kaikoura holiday

Fantastic self contained cottage in great location - easy access to town but well set back from the road so a lovely quiet spot with fantastic views over farmland to the mountains. Cottage itself was very comfortable and well maintained with everything you would need for family stay. Would definitely recommend and plan to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Judy’s cottage. The cottage is well situated and very comfortable with a lovely outlook. The lazy boys were very popular with the family. Having a well equipped kitchen was also very helpful.

Awesome view

We loved staying here. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. The view out the back is jaw-dropping. The gardens and the stream are beautiful. We were able to cycle down to the peninsula and see the seals as well as walk in the forest near Mount Fyffe. We found the owners very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great location, reasonably priced

Kaikoura was wonderful, our favorite spot in our trip, thanks to a kayak trip surrounded by dolphins and some great food. Judy's house is perfectly located, 3-4 minutes from restaurants, grocery store and the town. She is very friendly. Downsides - internet was a little spotty and dryer doesn't work so well, but the home is still a bargain.

Wonderful stay & amazing hosts!

I surprised my wife with a stay at this cottage for Valentine’s Day and she LOVED it! Alison and her husband are amazing hosts and very communicative through the whole process. I highly recommend the romantic package, my wife felt very special seeing the rose petals, chocolates and pastries. The cabin was very clean and private and the hot tub was so relaxing! The only thing I will say is that you may want to bring your own pillow if you like a firm pillow, the pillows that were there were a little flat for our liking (but that’s just a personal preference, nothing against the hosts!) All in all this was the best VRBO we’ve been to and will definitely be back!

Lovely place!

Stunning views to the mountains. Secluded and quiet, private setting. Lovely wee stream running behind the cottage with eels, fish and even a fresh water cray! A nice place to get a break away from the hustle & bustle yet still enjoy all the things that Kaikoura offers!

My Name is Judy Jarvis I have 2 sons both of which live overseas, in Japan & UK. I have lived and worked in Kaikoura for 34+ years. For the past 25 years I was employed by Whale Watch Kaikoura as a receptionist in their Reservations office but with covid and the downturn in Tourism...... I live in a big ugly 1970"s house called Brook House which I run as B&B Accommodation. Basically I share my home with lots of people, which I think is a wonderful way to live. I recently added 2 self contained cottages to my business which is an option for those that wish to have a bit more privacy and "do their own thing". I am more than happy to share my local knowledge with my guests.

Brook House is easy to find as it is off Highway 1 but down a long driveway from the busy road so nice and quiet. The front of the property overlooks farmland with an uninterrupted view to Mt Fyffe and the nearby Seaward Kaikoura Mountains.
