Great Stay
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was comfortable and the location was convenient to the activities we had planned in the area. Our favorite feature was the screened in porch!
Cute house fully stocked and right in the river with a dock. Caught a few catfish. Beautiful setting and great quiet location. Highly recommend this property.
We had a lovely time at this property for the past few days! Owners thought of and included the little things that make a vacation relaxing. The dock and river are right out back making this a great location.

From the owner: "Thank you for your kind comments. We appreciate your visit and hope to have you back!"
This is a lovely property. We enjoyed the cabins furnishings in a wood and iron theme. It has everything you need for preparing meals in the kitchen. We only used the queen bed which was very comfortable. My husband fished at the dock and we took a trip to Crystal Springs to see the Manatees. We would stay here again.

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Peaceful, clean, and well cared for. Thank you for the memories
I loved everything about this hidden gem. Location was perfect. The house was very clean and well maintained. Close enough to Crystal River to swim with the manatees. I plan on coming back. Loved it!
This trip was my birthday getaway and we enjoyed every bit of it!! The house was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. Being able to sit on the dock and watch the water and the fish was very relaxing. The location was great. We traveled to Crystal River and Homosassa with ease. Booking was easy! We would recommend this fish camp!!
Our stay was wonderful! The first hour, we saw 3 manatees right at the dock. The house is very comfortable. AC works great! The back porch is serene. Nancy was very helpful, and gracious over a hiccup (my fault) in our reservation.
We loved the little house. It was conveniently located to Crystal River, where we paddled with manatees. We forgot our paddle board pump and were so excited to see that there was one at the home. We loved fishing off the pier, although we didn't catch anything. Our kids and their Barbies enjoyed the screened-in porch and my husband was happy to see the brand new girll!

some good some bad
Third party booking agent didn't sent check in info. Was able to eventually resolve after much effort. Location hard to find, address not well marked and three houses on property. No response to texts or a call to management so I went online to compare the photo to see where to go. The actual cabin was very nice, clean, for the most part nice décor. Two chairs in front of TV had badly torn upholstery but I put a sheet over it. The large screened in porch overlooking large oaks and the river was great. That porch was perfect. There were nice details like kitchen supplies, (but no ice maker) hair drier, bug repellant, board games etc. But the attentions to those details stands out incongruously with two main things. No screens on any of the windows, so after closing the porch off for the night there was no way to enjoy the perfect fresh air and weather. And you have to hunt to turn the hot water on! The note (that I didn't see at first) on side of fridge says turn the hot water on behind the stove. Nope, nothing behind the stove. Info is only in the notebook. The switch is in the hallway that is next to the stove but it is also hidden behind a picture. So strange that they cannot turn this on before you arrive. Management did not respond to several texts messages during my stay. But the main reason I would not return is the bed was horrible. I honestly had the worst night's sleep that I have ever had in my entire life. You could not pay me to sleep in that bed again.

Hi Lisa, we want all our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We have high standards of hospitality for our property to ensure our guests have a positive stay. We're truly sorry to hear that you didn't have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests
-We confirmed that we sent out the pre-stay instructions before the booking reservation to confirm all the necessary information needed for your stay
-We sincerely apologize for the issue with the address. Based on your feedback we have since added the house numbers at the street on the mail post. We are in the process of constructing a custom street sign in the near future. In the meantime, the added numbers are posted to accommodate our future guests
-While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort we're sorry the furniture didn't meet your preferences. We are looking for replacement chairs or covers for the two torn ones. Due to current logistics across the supply chain, they are not in stock. We can assure you once the chairs are replaced, they will change the appearance overall
-The home is older so the special character is part of its charm. It is very typical in most older homes, screens were not added features. To add screens to fit would entail making them custom, which is cost prohibitive. We have never received any complaints about this in the past. On the contrary, prior guests have mentioned they prefer no screens for the beautiful views and scenery
-While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry for the miscommunication with the hot water heater. We will be leaving it on at all times, we apologize for any confusion
-Regarding the queen bed, apologies that your group didn't find it comfortable. While the bed is brand new it may not be a perfect fit for every preference, however, they are one of the most approved in the market. We will check the bed and add a memory foam pillow topper on top of the bed to ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded
We hope you were still able to enjoy your vacation. We have had such positive reviews in the past. We work very hard to ensure all guests have a 5-star experience at our vacation home!

Just OK
No bedroom windows open. Kitchen/living room windows not meant to open either, difficult to have fresh air in the house. House has dark floors, furniture, ceilings & black kitchen counters so needed to use bright overhead lights. Bathroom is small and dated but functional.
Light bulb in the hood over stove was burned out, no spare. I replaced it myself. Plastic kitchen garbage container had no lid or top. W/o fresh air it’s noticeable. To me, these issues are due to inattentive property manager. Hot water temperature likely set at bare minimum of 120º so hard to wash dishes. 140º is recommended temp. Most cooking pans were worn out, non-stick pans and pretty scratched up. No working can opener. Propane tank for outdoor grill was empty upon arrival. Had to email prop manager, she sent someone over to swap it out. Should have already been done. Upon arrival for three-week stay the lawn was not mowed w/ scattered tree debris and shin high weeds. A week later someone mowed & cleaned up. No additional lawn care after that, weeds back to shin high when I left. Timing was off for my stay. Extremely difficult to launch a canoe or kayak from the property as the river bank is high, steep and made of rocks. I had to drive my canoe to local boat ramps for launch sites. The dock is basic, a fixed platform over the water. The porch had new Weber grill that was nice though the grease pan was near full. Prop manager never emailed, texted or checked to see how things were.

Hi Peter, your review is greatly appreciated, and we're thankful for your time sharing your experience. Upon reviewing your feedback, we've connected with the homeowner, who wanted to address a few points:- Thank you for choosing to stay in our Inglis, Florida home and leaving a review, as guest feedback is vitally important to us and the success of our vacation rental business. - We acknowledge your concern about the windows and offer alternative ventilation options like sliding glass doors, ceiling fans, and air conditioning. We prioritize accurate representations in our photos and descriptions. Apologies for any inconvenience with the stove hood light bulb; we'll address it promptly. Outdoor trash cans are available for extra disposal needs, despite the plastic garbage can lacking a lid.- Thank you for notifying us about the need for extra trash bags and your preference for hotter water. We'll check the thermostat and inventory our cookware, replacing items as necessary. We apologize for the oversight with the propane tank and grease pan and will monitor them closely to prevent future issues.- The dock features a convenient attached ladder to facilitate water access. Moreover, direct access to the river is provided through stone steps leading down to the water. These stone steps are located in the middle of our backyard, to the left of the dock. We understand your expectations regarding communication from the property manager and will incorporate this into our future guest interactions.- Adhering to our no-pet policy is crucial for maintaining property quality and guest comfort. Unfortunately, we observed two dogs on the premises without prior notification or permission, violating our rules and insurance requirements. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
Absolutely beautiful place to stay..The accommodation were great. A wonderful place to stay. Everything was very clean and cozy and welcoming. Highly recommended!!!
We had a great time at this little cabin.
It was about 40* in Inglis when we arrived and the little portable couldn’t keep up with the Florida winter.
We managed just fine! There were plenty of extra blankets to keep us warm.
Well stocked home, close to convenient stores.

Cute Cottage with almost everything you need.
The cottage is small but thoughtfully furnished to make the most of the space. The screened in porch is where we spent most of our time. There is a house instruction sheet just inside the front door. We did not read it until we found there was no hot water. The breaker is kept off while not in use. (It's behind the picture by the stove) We really enjoyed our stay.
Great place to relax ! Very clean and well kept. Will definitely be back.

This is a great property to relax, fish and enjoy. It's relatively secluded so you feel like the space is all your own. There was not a detail the owner missed. Everything we needed was there! Natural Springs in area were also a great bonus.
The property was very clean and cozy. Had everything we needed and then some. There was a lot of room to play and it was very quiet and relaxing. The kids loved being able to fish off the two docks. We definitely recommend and will keep this in mind when we head back that way.
