The Eagle Crest Lodge has a great variety of sleeping and living spaces. With a gigantic commercial refrigerator and separate freezer we were able to stock up and easily feed a family of 15. The AV and large barn room was perfect for movies and ping pong tournaments. The huge dining room tables let us gather indoors as a family. We loved sitting on the front porches with rockers and gliders and camp chairs looking over the beautiful forested hills. All of the upstairs bedrooms have their own air conditioning units. There was a wonderful small sitting room for quiet time. And there were so many comfy couches throughout the lodge. We drove about 25 minutes for a few lunches in Bedford and Mitchell, and it was an easy 50 minute jaunt to Bloomington for a wonderful family dinner.
I highly recommend this Lodge. Very spacious and open. The host was absolutely amazing. The view all the way around is gorgeous. We did not have any complaints. We will be booking again for our 4 day weekend with all of our kids and grandkids.
Excellent in every way possible. Perfect for family time with plenty of room for the grandkids to run and play. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of refrigerator and freezer space. Already thinking about when we can visit again.

Best Christmas Ever
It was the perfect weekend for our family Christmas! Spacious, clean, comfortable!
Excellent place - lots of rooms, plenty of hang out areas, just fantastic. It was my family, my aunt and uncle and their families, my parents, my siblings and their families - it was awesome! Great weekend!
We stayed at the property for our annual family trip. The barn had plenty of space for everyone, very clean, quiet and just what we needed. It was perfect!
This is the perfect setup for a large group. The weather was bad during our stay and we had plenty to do inside to keep everyone entertained. Would highly recommend! Hope to be back sometime.
Overall, this was a great stay. I would highly recommend this property. One item that is purely maintenance is that a couple of the room AC units did not function fully, so it was warm in a couple of bedrooms, and all of them are a little noisy, so a unit-by-unit tune-up is necessary. Getting picky (it was a lot of money to stay so I feel like I can be)... there are many dishes and enough cutlery and glasses for a large group, but I think a bit of drawer/cupboard re-organizing/de-cluttering is necessary to make it easier to cook for a large group. More large cooking pots/pans and a large electric griddle would have been nice. The table in the kitchen was great for storing all of the food/supplies we brought, but we would have liked a large cupboard to put things in so we could use the table for eating. The grill was nice, but we couldn't use it because we were not sure if it was charcoal or wood, so we suspect it was a smoker. I think a traditional-style, large propane grill would be a great idea, so large groups can grill out. We ended up pan-frying our burgers and dogs, and it took a long time.
This house was perfect for our annual family reunion… 13 people . Plenty of room, amenities were great and just as stated. The pictures really don’t do it justice- the woodwork throughout is gorgeous! Location is very secluded with great views. James was attentive and checking in/out was easy.
We had 19 family members meet for a weekend celebration. The place easily accommodated all of us with room to spare. Host was very friendly and easy to work with. Will be back!
The house was everything we expected and more. There was generous sleeping space and the kitchen as well stocked. The great room in the barn area was perfect for our family to play games and enjoy each other‘s company. Loved the back porch and outside area! Would definitely stay in this property again!
We had a wonderful time! It was great to find a property that was able to sleep 23 family members with plenty of bathrooms! A bonus was that it was located within two and a half hours for the majority of us! The kids and teens had so much fun playing pool, ping pong, and hide and seek!
We had the best time with our friends! The weather was perfect the views were STUNNING! The host has thought of everything! The property is a perfect place for a large group to eat, drink, and play cornhole!! For sure a new tradition!
