An outdoor enclosed area and spacious games room lends itself to perfect entertainment for the whole family, the location is great for tranquil time away whilst still close to all the facilities and activities that Hawks Nest/Tea Gardens has to offer!

This comfortable three-bedroom pet friendly home, Wayila is located opposite the Myall River and a walk or short drive to the local cafes, restaurants and beaches this property is sure to please the whole family!

Lovely, large older home. Last minute booking whilst already on the road and as we only had a bit of bedding it was a bit of a rush to buy linen and towels upon arrival. (Hawks Nest IGA saved us btw). Amazing view and peaceful area. Bakery in town was amazing. Heaps of nearby trails and access to mini river beach right across the road for pups.

Property was terrific, quite location great parking for 3 cars and boats

Great property for 3 couples, the only complaint was the bbq and oven weren't cleaned but other than those minor mishaps a great property and would stay there again again

Nice accommodation

The place had a great view of the lake and was a short 2 minute drive to the dog off leash beach. The owners where very accommodating when it came to dogs and had food bowls and a water bowl for canine companions. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to holiday with their pets They also provided lots of extras like hair dryer and kitchen essentials.

Neat and tidy

Really lovely spot opposite reserve and lake. Simple but neat house with everything you need. Clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen.

28 Koonawarra drive Hawks Nest

The house was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked. Lovely outlook over the lake, and reserve across the road was excellent for aging dog. Need a car to get to shops and beaches but this also meant that you are far from the maddening crowds (although it was very quiet this time of year). Hawks Nest is spectacular and has river, lakes and endless beaches.

Riverside gem

Great view of the Myall River from the front verandah. Great for a pre-dinner drink around sunset. A well stocked kitchen and plenty of room inside the house if you require a little privacy. Outdoor dining not an option. Backyard is very dog friendly. At least a twenty minute walk to Bennett's beach. We ended up driving to the flagged area. We enjoyed our stay.

Bedrooms had old stained carpet, damp/mothball wardrobes and uncomfortable beds. The damp rid buckets were full of water and had not been replaced. Kitchen was tired and had utensils from the 70’s with roach poop throughout the cupboards. Location is within a residential area so don’t expect holiday friendly/welcoming locals. Good size home but hard to keep bedrooms cool in summer with only air con in the main living areas.

Easter Escape

Ticked all the boxes for our family Easter with a dog. Beautiful view over the lake with amazing sunsets. House is simple and works well. Secure area for dog at rear of property. Lovely quiet part of Hawks Nest with good easy access to beaches, Tea Gardens, shops etc
