A beautiful combination of old and news in this 4 bedroom cottage

Doran is a 3 bedroom home that perfectly combines the original building and features with a new extension at the rear. Situated on a large block this home is surrounded by greenery with two enclosed yards. The expansive lawn is the perfect place for the kids and the family dog to play as you get ready for the day, or enjoy a glass of wine on the outdoor setting while the evening draws in.

Step inside this heritage home and you will find everything you require in a holiday home. The master bedroom provides a comfortable queen size bed, wall mounted tv, and electric heating. The second bedroom also contains a queen size bed with mounted small tv and electric heating and the final bedroom is equipped with bunks and a small wall mounted tv also.

There is a large bathroom with both bath and walk in shower, as well as separate toilet. The home also has a separate laundry area, fitted with both washing machine and clothes dryer for your use during your stay.

The kitchen in the centre of the home is tastefully designed with granite bench tops and equipped with all modern conveniences including a dishwasher. There is a 6 seater dining room table as well as bar stool seating at the counter. A wood heater is also available for those cooler nights.

The kitchen leads into the sunny and impressive lounge area with everything a family could want. The large L shaped leather couch is idea for your evening movies nights on the wall mounted plasma. There is also an Ipod docking station included to enjoy your favourite music. The families comfort is ensured with both gas log fire and air conditioning.

The lounge opens onto an enclosed central paved court area for evening entertaining with BBQ and outdoor dining. It also provides access to the semi detached studio. This newly built semi detached studio includes a king sized bedroom, spacious bathroom with walk in shower and kitchenette. The modern decor and layout, combined with original features, create the perfect holiday cottage for your Port Fairy getaway.

Please note firewood is NOT supplied but can be purchased from the BP or from Griffith Street.

Please note Doran cottage can be accessed both from the front and rear of the property with access to the secure garage at the rear.

This is a beautiful property with a nice mix of old and modern with wonderful character. Location is excellent and within short walking distance of shops and main town. Very spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen.

Weekend Stay

Property was perfect for our family of 6 and pet dog. The whole property is enclosed and was in the perfect location. We stayed for the port half fairy marathon and was able to jog down to the start line which meant less worry for us on race day! Communication with the property was seamless and we had everything we needed during our stay.

Great position. The cleanliness of the property could of been better. Plastic champagne flutes were not ideal, especially when there badly scratched and dirty.
