We loved the home, particularly the private pool. It was great that after a few hours at the beach we could come home and sit poolside. The house had every amenity we could think of, including the use of beach chairs, umbrellas. The kids loved the big screen tv! We would definitely stay there again.
The house was exactly as advertised! The kitchen was clean and spacious. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and had everything in working order. Our favorite was the pool area! It was a wonderful place to relax and play games. Our best VRBO house yet!

Roaches! not 1 square of toilet paper upon arrival. the 3rd bedroom is a hallway to the master!
Nice central location. It was our first time staying in a house on Marco, we’ve been here many times, but have previously stayed in a condo on the beach. It was nice to have a private pool.
Floating basketball
Pool floats
Lots of shade or sun on pool area
Pool temp was nice & warm
I brought some kitchen items, baggies etc.. there were some in the house as well as Saran and foil that previous renters must have left. I also brought coffee filters for the drip coffee maker, but there were some left here.
Fridge in the garage for beverages
Garage door was not a problem, they gave us a garage door opener to get our bikes in and out. Just left the car in the driveway overnight.
You have to walk through bedroom #2 to get to the master. Not a problem, we felt it was a safe neighborhood and left the sliding doors to the pool/lanai area open at night and we would just exit through our sliding doors in the morning and go into the living area as not to bother our grown children sleeping in the other bedrooms!
It was very nice we all had our own bathrooms and queen/kings beds for grown couples.
We rented bikes at Island bike shop for the week, very inexpensive, and biked to the beach every day, about 2 miles, less than 15 minute ride.
I would stay here again!
This is an older home that has been partially updated. The appliances were all newer and there was a toaster, a blender, a coffee maker, a microwave and a nice size island in the kitchen area. There were about 6 settings of stoneware, an additional set of plastic dishes, and plenty of silverware. However the mugs were not microwave safe. The great room featured a very large tv, a couch , a chair and two beanbag chairs. The beds were in good shape and comfortable. The home was very clean. The configuration is somewhat inconvenient You have to walk through the second bedroom or outside through the lanai to get to the master bedroom. We experienced several issues but did find the management company to be very responsive. We tried to use the grill but found that it was out of propane. The tank was replaced the next day. We arrived in Marco during a record settling cold snap. The heat in the back half of the house did not work. Turning on the furnace immediately flipped a breaker The management company immediately sent a service person but the conclusion was that it would take an electrician to fix it. Luckily normal Marco weather eventually returned, but we had two very chilly nights. We were told that the pool heater would not works when the air temp is below 55. However, there were additional problems with the pool heater so even after the weather warmed up, it did not work. A service person came. It was finally warm on the the morning we checked out. Convenient, safe and quiet area.
The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked but our stay was not a pleasant one. The pool had a layer of dirt on it and the heater was not heating the pool (we paid a fee for pool heat). For 2/7 of our days the pool was 72 degrees and dirty and unusable. It took 2 visits by a pool repairman to get it working. The outlets in the master bathroom were not working so someone from the management company came and reset the breaker in the electrical box. I had to do this several times during our stay. The house came with an attached garage but it was unusable. To get it to work you had to use the button inside the garage and hold it the entire time the door was going up and down. So you'd have to do this to get it open, pull out your car, get out of your car, run back in the house, go to the garage hold the button until the door was completely closed, then go back out the front door to your car. OR we were told to leave it open all day which wasn't a solution because we would be responsible for any theft while we were gone plus the risk of coming home to an intruder! Our 4th repairman came out to repair the air conditioning. We were without air for 12+ hours through the night. It made for some uncomfortable sleeping. The repairman said the lines were clogged due to poor maintenance and he'd be talking to the management company about future needs. We contacted the management company on Saturday asking for the owner to make some financial compensation for all of these problems, which I know as a VRBO owner, is a common request and suggested by VRBO when there are problems. I was told they wouldn't be able to reach the owner until Monday. I called back on Monday afternoon and was told someone would be getting back to me. By the time we left on Tuesday no one had contacted us. No compensation was offered. AVOID THIS PROPERTY.
