LOCATION - 7 blocks north of Main Street
HOSTS - Private guesthouse to yourselves
SLEEPS - Up to 4 people; king bedroom & the second bedroom has 2 twin beds
BATH - 2 baths; both have walk-in showers
KITCHEN - Fully-equipped kitchen with Keurig Coffeemaker
BREAKFAST - No breakfast provided. Coffee and teas are left for you.
AMENITIES - WiFi, large smart TV with cable, hot tub, fire pit, front and back porch with outdoor seating, washer & dryer

PETS - YES (limit 2, must be crated in owner's absence)

Up to two dogs are allowed but there is an additional nightly pet fee of $27/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. If you bring more than one dog and do not let us know, you will be charged accordingly. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

I felt like I was staying at a luxurious spa. The house was welcoming and very clean. The beds were really comfy, and the amenities like the rain shower and the hot tub were an added benefit.

Home is as described. Beds are comfortable in each bedroom. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub appeared well kept and clean and The air conditioner worked very well. We had no issues, thank you!

Cousins Trip

The house is very comfortable and the back yard is a good place to relax after a day of shopping. The location is far enough from the shopping area to be quiet and yet easy to get back on the highway for day trips. We highly recommend Hackberry Haus.

Overall clean and updated property! It was great for a family of 4 with kids. The decor was nice just a few recommendations for future guest stays! The master rainfall shower needs attention, all the spouts were not working so water is patchy. It ended up being okay but there isn't a door from the bedroom to bathroom which is a little awkward, maybe a pocket door or curtain. The bedroom doors have a curtain covering door glass vs full door so if you are looking for more privacy wouldn't recommend. Beauitiful doors though. The hot tub wasn't heating properly either. Overall kitchen was great with stocked kcups and ample dishes.Great place, we enjoyed it! Cute place and we enjoyed it!! Or key ng fine

We returned for a second stay at this property this year. We like the property. Feels fairly new and always clean. Beds are great. Giant tv. Neighbors are quiet. No barking dogs. Peaceful. Only 1 needed improvement. The front door is 50% glass. And has a tiny old fashioned covering that give's zero night time privacy. Charming Home and Neighborhood

Nothing but great things to say about this home. Clean and beautiful in every way! We were two ladies out for a girls getaway in Fredericksburg and couldn't have selected a better house. Hot tub was a special bonus because it was super clean. In fact, the hot tub cleaner came on the first morning that we were there and told us where the locals ate... talk about a bonus! Don't miss Martini's Seafood House, but be there at 5 p.m. and sit at the bar. Best not to arrive on a Monday because too many of the stores are closed. It's funny, but lots of the restaurants are closed on Wednesday too. We love We love to arrive on Wednesday and leave on Saturday. Great parking during the week!!

Very Relaxing and quiet location

All was great. But note - It is not a fully fenced yard and was alittle surprised about astroturf. Nice safe neighborhood and was able to take my dog on long walks.

Very nice home. This was our second stay. Just know that if you plan to do any cooking you'll need to bring any required spices, olive oil, etc. There is nothing provided in that department except a salt & pepper shaker.
