About this property

Currents at Otter Bay is a beautiful family resort located on North Pender Island in B.C’s Southern Gulf Islands, including 32 separate Cabins. The sundeck, complete with teak furniture and barbeque, provides bay views of the marina. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, TV with DVD and surround sound, high speed internet access and a gas fireplace.

The resort is within easy walking distance of the ferry terminal at Otter Bay, and is ideally located for guests vacationing on foot or bicycle. The resort includes an outdoor pool and change rooms. The marina offers, scooter rentals, a general store and coffee bar. A large grassed common area for volley ball, badminton or bocce ball, as well as a play area for the children, is available. Also one of the best sandy beaches is within 15 minutes walk, directly across the bay from the resort. Reserved marina space is available for boating enthusiasts and boat launching from the ramp is available. The Pender Island Golf Club 9 hole golf course is 1.5 km from Currents. The Driftwood Mall, 10 minutes away, offers a variety of local foods, a gas station, Liquor Store, bakery and retail services to make your vacation a home away from home.

Great stay on Pender Island

My husband and I had a great stay in this cottage. Very clean and well maintained. The property as a whole is also well organized. It’s a stunning area. We would definitely stay here again.

Adorable cottage, beautiful area

Such a lovely and well-designed cottage and community. Beautiful ocean views and truly cozy spot. If you're planning on cooking, the cottage had every utensil you'll need but bring your own coffee, salt, etc. we would happily stay here again.

Perfect family getaway

This place was perfect for a little family getaway over Spring Break. The cottage was clean and fully stocked. The pool wasn’t open yet but we used the field and games room lots and explored the island. We’d highly recommend!
