This was a great place for my son and I. My son loved being able to have his own space and to climb up and down from the loft. I loved that we a warm comfortable place to end each day. This was a wonderful Base Camp to attend the many activities we had planned. I would highly recommend staying here. We greatly enjoyed the stay.
Very nice place to stay. Recommend sweeping under bed for dust and a left over sock from someone else. Thank you.

Good location for money lots of ants
This place is good for the price nice to have a kitchen. Definitely a little dirty and the WiFi extender is covered in ants which was off putting. Check in was fine but you go though another app to get the code to I was outside the gate for 15 mins in the cold trying to figure it out
Easy to check in. Everything as described. Clean and well organized. Perfect for my quick stay to visit my U of U student. Batteries in the remote to the TV were dead. Coffee pot and a cute little holder for coffee bar but it was empty. That would be a great little perk to have that stocked.

I ENDED UP LEAVING
Place was filthy, bed extremely dirty, undone beds, trash cans filled with tash, entire place was dusty, roaches everywhere, dirty clothes still in the washer dryer machine. Ended up getting a hottel room last minute which means higher prices. If you want to avoid this just look for a hottel and avoid your self this kind of last minute set backs.
This tiny home was absolutely adorable. We loved that the driveway was gated so we felt safe and didn’t stress about my car being broken into. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but no more so than a standard hotel.
Only thing we really found odd was the water pressure. Sometimes it was perfect with no issues, but a lot of the time it was very low. Other than that we loved our stay there!

Not a pleasant stay!
This was definitely the worst rental experience I’ve had. We weren’t able to get into the place that I booked, so we were sent to a different property which was pretty unpleasant (locks were faulty, bugs everywhere, dirty dishes, etc..) At least we had a roof over our heads, but it was less than enjoyable. I reached out to the host after leaving to ask for a partial refund and was ignored. Would not recommend!

Hi Halle, we're sorry to hear that your experience wasn't as expected, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback. We followed up with the homeowner, and they wanted to share the following:- We understand the frustration of not being able to access the original property due to a faulty lock. We arranged for our maintenance team to fix the issue and provided an upgraded unit just 5 minutes away for your stay. The lock was fixed a few hours later, and we were happy to accommodate your preference to remain in the alternate unit.- Our cleaning crew didn't find any issues with bugs or dirty dishes during their inspection.- We also addressed your concern about the lock promptly and to your satisfaction while you were staying with us. Since we were unable to validate the issues you reported, we had to decline your request for a refund, which we communicated. We work hard to provide a wonderful guest experience and look forward to hosting many satisfied visitors.
The pictures were very deceiving online. We spent a lot of money on this place to show up and there is mold growing in the bathroom, the sheets were not changed before we got there (and didn’t look like it was cleaned at all), supplies had ran out, and it was just overall not a nice place to stay. We had to get a hotel during our stay because this place was just disgusting and we did not feel good about staying there anymore. Would never recommend to anyone.

This is a pretty cool little place. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros: great location. Everything you need is within 5 minutes.
The host was wonderfully responsive to my needs.
Very safe - there is a gate code to come onto the property, as well as second gate. I didn’t lock the door.
Good bed, dishwasher, washer and dryer.
Excellent way to see if you could live in a tiny house. Not for me!
Cons: As I said, the host was very responsive, correcting problems quickly. Unfortunately, whoever was getting it ready to rent, all the replenished kinds of supplies were missing. There was also a problem with ants, but I was supplied with ant traps, and was able to eliminate all but very few.
That said, I would stay there again. The host did a great job.
One last thing - there are chickens, and they serenaded me every time I walked by. Good stuff.
I really enjoyed my stay at the tiny house. This was my first time staying in a tiny house, and it was overall a great experience. I was able to meet the gentleman that designed and built the entire structure, which was pretty cool. I was in the house for 30 days and liked most everything about it. If there is anything to note for future guests it would be that the wifi is a little spotty. I think that it is shared with the main house, so especially in the evenings it gets slow and I was kicked off the network pretty regularly. The only other thing is that the shower doesn't get very warm. I learned from talking to the builder that the water heater is just too small for the house. I took advantage and practiced my Wim Hof Method! But in all seriousness, just get ready for some chilly showers. Other than these two things, I really enjoyed my stay.

This stay rid me of any more tiny home curiousity
The wide angle lens photos make the place look larger than it really is. And yes, it was winter, but still, having to use both heaters and the space heater to stay warm was disappointing. Housekeeping turned the instant hot water heater down to 54 degrees so I took cold/tepid showers for several days before summoning maintenance - very helpful guy - to address. Even then the shower wasn't hot and the water pressure in the tiny pod was marginal. I don't call it clean when there are empty water bottles and used kleenex under the bed, crumbs on the floor in the kitchen, and a full load of towels and sheets in the dryer. While the "double gate" security seems like a nice idea, though the neighborhood doesn't warrent it, it was a pain to get in and out walking and I can't imagine trying to repeatedly back a car out the narrow driveway while needing to jump out to press the button for the interior gate. The local host was responsive and polite. I don't think I'll ever stay at a VRBO or similar again despite years of traveling this way. At least at a hotel, I can check out and/or get a refund.

Hi Polly, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
We're sorry you didn't fully enjoy your stay at our tiny home. We have since upgraded the shower and heater unit.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
Fun little space for me and my two kiddos while we were in SLC. The laundry and dishwasher were a nice touch. Main room got too cold but the loft and bedroom were nice and toasty. Loft could use a tv. Shower water was lukewarm. All in all, pretty cool experience. Would do it again.
This property was in a great location in a nice neighborhood! The house itself is so cute and cozy and has everything you need. This isn’t the property owners fault but the neighbor did have fruit trees that dropped fruit into this yard, a lot of it was rotten so it smelled a little gross outside but inside the tiny home is perfect :)
