Nestled in the serene tranquility of Lorne, Victoria, welcome to our Groovy Log Summer House—a homely, pet-friendly retreat with the perfect blend of chic and rustic charm. Free WIFI, fresh linen, and an easy stroll to the beach, we've got everything covered for your dream getaway.
As you step into our log cabin, be ready to soak in an atmosphere of calm, with the forest as your backyard. Just take a deep breath and let the worries of the world slip away in this unique oasis.
Perfectly positioned, we are a gentle walk away from Swing Bridge Beach—the perfect spot for a morning breakfast or an evening paella paired with sangria. Iconic attractions such as Teddy’s Lookout and Erskine Falls are easily accessible, and the sun-kissed beaches of Lorne are close at hand. For the adventurous spirits, the Great Ocean Road and the enchanting Otway Ranges are just a short drive away.
In the mood for a round of golf? Our backyard is almost an extension of the local golf course—a sanctuary for golfers during the day and a spectacle for children in the evening as it becomes a haven for the local kangaroos.
Step into our homely log cabin and discover an environment where rustic design meets stylish comfort. Our cabin boasts bespoke furniture, Marimekko and Country Road furnishings, and can comfortably sleep five guests in our two-bedroom set-up. The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom offers a queen/king single bunk.
Our kitchen is well-equipped and the pantry comes stocked with all essentials for your convenience. The open plan living and dining area provides a perfect setting for memorable family gatherings. As the day winds down, immerse yourself in entertainment with our smart TV, or enjoy a relaxing evening listening to your favourite vinyls on our stunning Danish record player.
We provide all linen (just BYO beach towels) and are happy to arrange a high chair and porta cot upon request. We welcome your stay with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates. Please note that while we love furry friends, we kindly request no pets on the beds or furnishings.
We also offer a secured, fenced area at the back of the house to keep pets.
