Built in 1923 by Edward Stein, the Magnolia House was consistently voted one of the top B&Bs in Fredericksburg since 1991. It has been converted from a B&B and is now a premier vacation rental in which you can rent the entire five bedroom house for a gathering with friends and family or as spacious suites with separate sitting areas, fireplaces and private entrances. The Magnolia Suite is a 1 bedroom and 1 bath suite that is ideal for couples. Like all of the rooms at Magnolia House, the Magnolia Suite is spotless and well appointed with high quality linens, fluffy towels, signature toiletries and luxurious spa robes- all selected with your ultimate comfort in mind. After a long day enjoying the beauty of the Hill Country, relax with a glass of wine next to the koi pond or enjoy a soak in one of the 2 hot tubs. HOSTS - Suite all to yourself. There are two other suites on the property but they will not be occupied during your stay. There is also a separate cottage at the rear of the property where the groundskeeper lives but your privacy is always respected.

not walking distance from Main street. The furnishings were out dated and the tv was so very small, as was the bathroom. ultimately i felt it was over priced for what we got.

Recent stay

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood. Only recommendation is to create some type of privacy for the hot tub. This house was booked for the use of the hot tub after a long day of walking but was not used due to its location between the homes. Other than that one personal preference, we enjoyed out stay very much.
