Location is great, you can walk to the shops and it’s only a short drive to the beach. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
It is a lovely cottage which let us enjoy our SA holiday a lot. Close to everything. The host is very kind and very nice , she put everything in details. If we will visit Yorke Peninsula again, will definitely choose here to stay one more time.
We enjoyed our stay in the cottage and Tracy was particularly accommodating regarding late check out as we were travelling with my elderly mother. This was much appreciated. The garden is delightful. Cottage is tastefully decorated and kitchen very well equipped. Would recommend highly especially for couples.
Loved the decor- felt very homely. Backyard was definitely a tranquil place to hang out. Everywhere you looked was something interesting to take in.
Had ceiling fans but would have loved an air conditioner after a hot day at the beach.
The property was so lovely. Inside was clean and everything you needed was there. We especially loved the backyard with all its sections where you could sit and relax. The kitchen was well equipped and the teenagers had a great time. They walked back from Moonta Bay, it didn’t take them long, and into the Main Street for a wander. It is a short drive to Port Hughes which was also beautiful. Thank you for a great stay.
Great property, great location, only downside was no microwave in the kitchen.

About the host
Hosted by Tracy Reed
My name is Tracy and am the proud owner of Caroline Cottage. Having only recently discovered Moonta I immediately fell in love with the historic town with its stone buildings and friendly atmosphere and was entranced by the history. The little cottage on Caroline Street was up for sale at the time and I knew I had to have a look and decided on the spot this was the place for me. Initially I intended to rent it out but after my first stay I knew it was too good not to share. Thus came the next adventure of getting ready for others to enjoy and the name Caroline Cottage was born.
