The Space:

a base for all your adventures, with Torquay being a year-round destination and the official start point
of the Great Ocean Road. Capture the spirit of surf culture with a visit to Bells Beach, Surf City Plaza
and Surf World Museum. Stroll along sandy beaches or take fine views of the coast from vantage
points along the Surf Coast Walk.

Book a holiday for 1 or 2 families, or bring the grandparents for an extended family holiday. This
house is all about sharing quality time together in a beautifully designed and decorated 2-storey
home. Set up to sleep up to 12 guests in spacious surrounds, a generous floor plan provides space
for everyone, both for lively communal gatherings and chill-out zones. One upper and two lower level
living zones offer guests different areas to hang out, with Smart TV’s in two of them with Netflix
connectivity. The kids have a dedicated space upstairs, complete with board games, an Xbox 360 and
a variety of Xbox games to play.

Relax and enjoy all the comforts of home with comfy lounges, great beds, an outdoor setting and
BBQs, plus heaps of room for the kids to play in the fully fenced backyard with synthetic turf.
An 8-seater dining table and central kitchen with island bench provides a commanding position
overlooking the open plan living and meals area, plus a direct view of the backyard; perfect for
keeping an eye on the kids. Stainless steel appliances and a large walk-in pantry will make holiday
meal prep a breeze, and a coffee pod machine with a starter pack of pods is available. Children’s
crockery, cutlery and cups are included. BYO highchair, but a porta cot is available on-site (BYO cot
linen).

All 5 bedrooms/3 bathrooms are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels, making your stay as pleasurable as possible. Upstairs has a huge master bedroom with Queen size bed, treetop view,
desk, walk-in robe and full ensuite. Next door is another Queen bedroom. Finally, the ‘Koala’ and
‘Kookaburra’ rooms each have a double base/single top bunk bed for the kids and cousins to have
slumber parties together. The family bathroom upstairs has a shower, single vanity, freestanding egg
bath and a separate toilet. Downstairs is a Queen bedroom with ensuite (no built-in robe).

The Sands Golf Course and the new Torquay North Shopping Village), and only 10mins walk to the
beach Walk, ride your bikes or push the pram along the trail to Fisherman’s Beach, where you will find
the Salty Dog Cafe for your morning coffee and a great brekky. ‘Seahaze Torquay Golf and Beach

Guest Access:
There is no access to the garage - guests can enjoy ample of street parking
The air conditioner must be turned of by 10pm as request by the owner for environmental reasons

The Neighborhood:
Our beach house is in a quiet family neighbourhood, within easy walking/riding distance to parks and short 1.4km drive to The Dunes Shopping Village shops (supermarket, bakery, pizza shop, bottle shop, wine bar and more... The Flying Fox park on the beachfront is nearby. On and off-street parking available, double gates allow jetski or small boat parking in the backyard.

Getting Around:
Buses to and from Torquay and Geelong (Number 50 or 51). Closest train station 15km away (Waurn
Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne. 
Torquay is 1 hour 15 mins by car from Melbourne.
