Light & Airy Beach Retreat with a pool

Enjoy our happy beach home + pool, that we have named after my amazing mum. Whether you’re looking to relax from the hustle & bustle or simply need some time to chill, the “Harriet’s Beach Retreat” nestled in a quiet street in this beautiful part of the coast is styled to feel as tranquil as its surroundings.

Harriet's ( as we lovingly call it) is suited to couples, a family or beach bums wishing to spend lazy days by the pool/ beach, exploring the shops + cafes & the beautiful surrounds.

About 90 minutes drive from Melbourne, Harriet’s is our home away from home. It's full of light, fitted out with all the creature comforts to truly have a relaxing & restorative break.
For us it is a place that we reconnect with nature, we pause, rest and rejuvenate. I hope it will help you do the same!

Living Area

The home has two large living areas to enjoy equipped with flat screen tv's. We usually watch movies on Netflix, relax with a book or play one of the many board games available.

We ask that you not wear shoes on the rugs in the living areas ( with the rugs being plush and white).

Kitchen + Dining

The kitchen is the heart of our home and we spend a lot of time cooking or baking up a storm in the fully appointed kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need - cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, kitchen aid, Nespresso Coffee Machine, Microwave, Smeg Kettle + toaster.

Enjoy your meals at the breakfast bar or on the beautiful dining table
( Breakfast Bar 4 + Dining 6 ).

Heating + Cooling

The home has gas central heating + one reverse cycle split system in the main living room.

Open the doors onto the deck that overlooks the center piece of our beautiful home - the stunning in-ground electric heated self cleaning swimming pool (2.8m x 7m).

Curl up with the book by the pool, relax on the couch or take a lap in the beautiful pool. There is also a BBQ available for use.

The backyard is also fully enclosed creating the privacy that you need. For those of you who don't want to leave the outdoors, there is a copper shower ( hot and cold) to wash off after a trip to the beach or pool.

Bedroom

Harriet's has been set up to comfortably accommodate upto 8 guests. We do not allow extra guests.

Bedroom 4 - Double

Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 share a bathroom ( shower + tub) with a seperate toilet.

Samsung washing machine & Samsung Dryer provided.

STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES, PARTIES OR FUNCTIONS. No Exceptions will be made.

NO SMOKING

All linen is provided to ensure you have a relaxing holiday.

Food + Drink is to be kept to the dining/kitchen table & no shoes on the rugs in the living room.

No glass is to be taken anywhere near the pool area for safety reasons.

We expect that guests will treat Harriet's as they would treat their own property + possessions.

This includes leaving our home in the same CLEAN and TIDY condition that we will leave it for you to enjoy ( additional cleaning charges will apply if our home is left in an unacceptable manner).
We do have departure requests such as taking out the rubbish + if this is something you do not envisage yourself doing or like to be asked, our home is probably not for you. Harriet's is not a hotel, it's a home that we've put a lot of love, care and attention to.

Please keep noise at a respectful level in consideration of close neighbours.

Bad Behaviour - We reserve the right to terminate your stay and ask you to leave the property effective immediately without refund if any guests of the house:
- houses more people than listed on the booking
- ignores requests or warnings from management
- causes malicious damage to the property
- portrays excessive noise or undesirable behaviour
