Experience the ultimate mountain getaway at Blizzard Peaks Lodge, whether you crave skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, or simply relaxing with loved ones. This chalet-style retreat offers luxury amenities and breathtaking views of Sunday River Resort, including their spectacular winter weekend fireworks (7PM!).

Inside, the lodge boasts an expansive great room with a cozy gas fireplace, exposed wood cathedral ceilings, and a stunning kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, a wine refrigerator, and granite countertops. There's ample space for cooking, dining, and entertaining, with both the upstairs and downstairs living rooms featuring comfy couches and 55” TVs.

With a total of four bedrooms, including two large ones with king beds and ensuite baths on the main and top floors, Blizzard Peaks Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. Downstairs, you'll find the third bedroom with a king bed and the fourth bedroom with fantastic bunk beds. Games, including a foosball table, provide entertainment for both adults and kids. Another full bath with a tub and washer/dryer is also located downstairs.

Conveniently located just 6 minutes from premier skiing and mountain golf, and 10 minutes from downtown Bethel, Blizzard Peaks Lodge ensures easy access to all the area has to offer. Cozy Relaxing Getaway

Amazing cozy house with the most picturesque view and neighborhood. From the stunning views to the well thoughtout layout this was just what our family needed for a Thanksgiving getaway. Early checkin and late checkout were available and the management team was prompt and kind. The pictures do this place no justice. We will be back soon.

Perfect Ski House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, perfect for a family getaway. 2 minute drive to the mountain, and very comfortable. We had 8 adults and three children, and had plenty of room. I would return in a heartbeat, and recommend the property highly.

Weekend Away

Great place to spend a long weekend with friends. Worked great for two families with kids. Had a bit of an issue with leaking air conditioning but the property managers were super quick to respond via text. We really appreciated the immediate contact and support as well as the early check in and late check out. Beautiful place!

Hockey team gues skiing!!

Trip was with 10 of our men’s league hockey players from Boston. Everyone loved the house. It was spacious and beautiful. The views are amazing. Great house for dinners and hanging out. We would definitely like to do it again.

Ski weekend

This is a beautiful home facing the mountain less than 1 mile or so from the main lodge. Kitchen is well stocked. Home is beautifully decorated. Grill worked without any issues as did the fireplace and TV. I would encourage them to either specify to bring laundry detergent or supply it as they did ask to start the towels prior to departure. Both the detergent and fabric softener were empty. The upstairs shower did not get hot only luke warm but they were very attentive and came out to try and fix it. They couldn’t fix it so we had to shower on the main or bottom level. Not the end of the world just slightly inconvenient. Overall a great experience for 2 families staying together for the weekend.

Wonderful stay!

Stayed at Blizzard Peaks Lodge for 4 nights over Labor Day weekend and cannot speak highly enough about the home or Maine Ski Rentals. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that the home did not have central air; rather, there was a portable AC unit on the upper level but the main level was registering a temperature of 86 degrees (at nearly 11pm). I reached out to Maine Ski Rentals after 11pm to request an additional portable unit for the main floor and it was installed before 11am the next morning. We were very impressed with Matt and his team’s responsiveness. (Side note: it does get cool in the evenings; most visitors to the area don’t spend a whole lot of time indoors during the day (as there is so much to do), so lack of central air will likely be a nonissue for most folks). Everything else in the home was as listed (and even more beautiful in person). We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already made reservations to return. If you are considering this home, my advice is to book it—it’s a fantastic property managed by an equally fantastic team!
