Cute house and perfect location!

We loved this house, clean, comfortable , even a garage for our motorcycle ! We brought our kayak and bicycles too. Nice neighborhood to ride around and very quiet. Rode our motorcycle to Ozello and had the best grouper at Pecks. Very special !!! Also close to our favorite shrimp place..... The Freezer !

Nice old Homosassa experience

The entire stay was nice, clean home with beautiful finishes and comfortable furnishings. Great location convenient to local restaurants shopping, and water access, dock was perfect for our 22’ bay boat and close to gulf. Make sure to bring your charts and chips for nautical navigation to avoid shallow water areas. We will be back! Perfect for those planning on enjoying fishing or scalloping due to water access and dock on protected canal.

Nice place!

Nice place with water access! The house was clean, beds we’re comfortable and a great dock out back. The amenities, however, we’re lacking. The kitchen was sparse- 2 pots, 2 pans & 3 sharp knives- the only spatula was to the grill. No extra garbage bag. Also, less than a full roll of TP for each bathroom- and single ply. We had to go buy TP for a 2 night stay. For over $400/night total, I expected better supplies.

Charming Home in Old Homosassa

We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect and nestled in Old Homosassa near all the local hangouts. The property is well kept and the house was clean. We did not do any cooking, so I cannot comment on how stocked the kitchen was. Our favorite feature was the very spacious screened in back porch complete with ceiling fan and blinds. Some of the blinds however had broken cords and could not be manipulated. The back yard area by the canal was very relaxing. There was one board missing on the very lowest section of the deck by the water which could be dangerous if you don't see it (especially at night). Only one of the light posts on the deck by the canal was working also, but the string lights lining under the deck rails worked. The bedding was comfortable and the shower was very hot and had plenty of water pressure. Another wonderful perk of this rental is the one car garage. I would definitely recommend staying here and would return in the future.

Heard this was a wonderful fishing area. We saw a photo of fishing poles and chose this area. It also had a photo of a cool boat in the canal. NO fishing poles, NO boat when we got there. Talked to Nancy and asked if it came with anything like a bike or wagon. NONEflew in and couldn't get in. I called Nancy and she rudely said she already gave me entry code. OK, but I don't find it. Instead of just giving me the number again, she started arguing. I was ready to leave. the photo of the fishing poles and boat were taken down. I will never suggest anyone go there.

A home that was once very loved

Upon arrival we were notified by owner that coffee pot was damaged...owner had a new coffee pot delivered within hours. Thank you! You could only imagine how loved this home was once. The past 60's-80's still present in outdoor area. We loved the nostalgia and could only imagine the elderly property owners who once lived there. Things to consider... - the area is laid back...fishing...good bars-food. -if you plan to cook....the kitchen minimum equipped. Both bedrooms had queen/full beds. The bedroom off of the kitchen has a smaller bathroom with shower only--no window...and no lighting in the shower. That bedroom also had no dresser that would accommodate a suitcase unpack. It did however have a closet that could accommodate a dresser. ( Organization is key when you stay in hotel or this setting.) The pictures of the home do well to represent the setting of the home. We enjoyed our stay and thank the owner for their prompt resolve on coffee matter. The area seems to have many vacant land pieces for sale....and provides some opportunity if you can. Loved Crumps, Old Mill.
