A comfortable older-style cottage in an amazing lakeside location with an unbeatable view and an exceptionally well-resourced kitchen. We had a wonderful 3 days. The only issue: we arrived on a 30 degree day and the upstairs bedrooms were extremely hot and didn’t cool down for many hours despite the (downstairs) air-con being on. The fans helped a bit and overall we all loved this place.

The Cottage on the Lake is in a beautiful 2 bedroom property located on the back quiet area of Burrill Lake, you can see the Kangaroos in the morning and evening down by the water and the Sea Eagles during the day, the cottage is stocked with basics which I had forgotten about, I am forever grateful for the mosquito repellent. Main bedroom and spare room have enough space for 5 people, would love to visit in winter and be able to sit by that fireplace, location is easy to get to and from, close enough to the local shops, rooms are clean
70s old school holiday house vibe. Retro furnishings. Front bedroom lovely Lakeview and grassy area out the front. Quiet and private. A yoga studio room at the back was good for putting our boards and gear in. Bedrooms upstairs. Lovely wood fire/ combustion in the lounge room. Multi stairs indoors lots of varying levelsStocked up with great kitchen big fridge , lots of cutlery and crockery for a big group if that was what you were doing.,plenty of condiments for your cooking and oil etc which was really handy…and bbq for use on the Lakeview balcony. Only negs: Not enough hot water for more than one shower, Would be nice to have a coffee machine, driveway would be slippery if raining

A view to die for
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 15 Wallaroy Drive. Quaint 70’s style A frame, comfy with all necessities. Not flash but funky with a fantastic view on the edge of Burrill Lake. Would return in a heartbeat.
