This mountain getaway in North Carolina was absolutely incredible. The views alone were worth the trip—peaceful, breathtaking, and exactly what we needed to unwind. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. You can tell the owners really care about creating a comfortable and welcoming experience. We especially loved spending mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings watching the sunset over the mountains. If you’re looking for a relaxing mountain escape, this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely house for 3 days to celebrate our anniversary. The view off the deck cannot be beat, and we loved spending time on the deck.

Always a perfect stay!
This was our 4th stay and it was perfect as it always is. We stay in home rentals all over the country and this is on our short list. Super relaxing amazing view and flat out the best hosts we have ever encountered. See you next time.

The view is spectacular no matter what time of the year. You feel like you are the only one on the mountain. We have stayed here numerous times and hope to stay again soon.

From the owner: "Thank you so much for your review. We love it when you and your family stay at the cabin. Thanks for reminding readers about the view.”
Me and my mom stayed with our dogs while working on our property nearby. The views were spectacular, especially watching fireworks in the valley below. Perfect destination for Fourth of July or just to get out of town and enjoy some tranquility. First time I saw fireflies since my childhood. Highly recommend visiting.

We drove from FL to Saluda SC and were 1.5 hrs from check in when we received notification that our reservation was canceled due to no water at the cabin. Long story short we ended up turning around and driving the 6.5 hrs back home.
We loved our stay. Easy access for a car with a wheelchair. Although we couldn’t get the chair inside it was easy to charge it from an outlet and it was under the roof on the front porch. The views from the back porch were stunning and fun to look out at the night sky and twinkling lights below. I would suggest bringing spring water with you if you are not accustomed to well water for coffee and cooking. Be prepared for driving a distance to run to a store. It is a quiet get away from it all kind of place but with internet! They are quick to respond with questions and concerns and were very pleasant to speak with. A snack basket was waiting for us with a warm welcome!

Nice Place!
We rented this cabin for a friends trip. It's isolated and a bit far from main stores like Walmart. There is a Dollar General a few minutes away. The cabin is nice, it has beautiful views, it's very well stocked. It has everything you need!. Debbie is very nice and communication is great. She will answer any questions and work with you very well. The gated community is very safe and you will see deer in the area. The water is not good, it smells very bad. But I don't know if the owner/host can do anything about that. Needs more closet space as well. Overall, the cabin is great, very comfortable, beds are great, big enough for a family of 9 and has BEAUTIFUL views! We don't know if we will return again. But I do recommend it!
This property was perfect for a mountain getaway. This cabin and throughout the neighborhood had spectacular views. The cabin is easily assessable for someone that cannot climb stairs since there are none, and you can park right in front of the door which made it nice for my elderly mom who has terrible balance.
The kitchen is very nicely stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The couches are extremely comfortable as well.
The host was very responsive and gracious with any requests we had.
This is a great cabin if you want to get away but like a lot of mountain cabins it is not real close to town. 20- 25 minutes to drive into town. The roads getting there were actually pretty easy for such a great view although I am sure it can get rough to assess in winter when snow and ice are around.
The owner left us plenty of coffee, bottled water and hot tea as well as nice towels and even dog dishes. I cannot say enough nice things about the host. It really felt like you were staying at a friend’s house.
I would stay here again if back in the area.
Just note the internet is a little slow like many mountain cabins. Good enough for basic stuff but slow for streaming movies. And there is just a small TV in the den and none in the bedrooms if that’s important to you.
We had a great time staying here for an extended weekend visiting with family. The cabin was clean and the owner was responsive and helpful when we had questions. The kitchen was well equipped and all the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
We stay in many VRBO properties and this one is near the top. This is a home not a rental. Full kitchen with everything you need for your family. Comfortable seating and the views of the Blue Ridge foothills are magnificent.
The host was the most attentive and responsive host we have ever had. If you want to detach and unwind in the woods while still being 15 minutes from restaurants and grocery stores and 30-45 to super cool little towns and shops this is it. We have already booked our next visit.
We come to NC almost every summer and this was a new area for us to try. The house is amazing. One of the top views and porch we have ever had. The place was immaculate and full of many amenities. The owners were great and easy to contact. The little town of Forest City nearby has some great restaurants and shops. Plenty of hiking in the area.
I highly recommend this place.
We had an excellent time! The views from the mountain top breath taking! I could see for miles! Quiet! We went to the Polkville Rodeo! Best rodeo around!
