Awesome stay at OML

Our group stayed at Outlaw Mountain Lodge for a week and it was everything we hoped for and more. The cabin itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The views from the cabin out to the mountains were breathtaking! We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit making s’mores and absolutely loved the basement amenities, the pool table and movie theater were big hits with our group. We also had some wildlife sightings right from the cabin, including a deer and turkey! The entire setting was really peaceful and beautiful. Everything about the listing was exactly as advertised, and the hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches. They were responsive, welcoming, and clearly take a lot of pride in making their guests feel welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable mountain retreat.

Perfect getaway

Outlook Mountain Lodge is a fabulous getaway. I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties but none as well equipped and spotless as this one. They have literally thought of everything! I already miss my lazy mornings sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and taking in the gorgeous view. We came in for a family wedding and we’re already planning a return trip. If you’re looking for quality family time, this is your spot.

Million Dollar View

The property had everything promised but the view from the wrap around porch was better than described. The little touch showed they thought of everything to make our stay very special. The drive up the road took nerves of steel but worth it!!

Christmas Getaway

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Very spacious for the entire family, plenty of things to do. We drank our coffee on the patio with a fantastic view, played games during the day and watched movies in the theater at night. Everything in the cabin is labled with instructions, super helpful. Thank you!

Kids spring break

For starters our hosts were very great with communication. 3 days before arriving we received a text stating the cabin was ready for our arrival and we were allowed to check in early. Upon arrival we were greeted with goodies that warmed the whole family. Our kids really enjoyed the theater room my wife enjoyed the fabulous views from the deck and the kitchen. All in all o would definitely recommend this place to someone else.

AMAZING HOME, EVEN BETTER HOSTS!

The home is just absolutely amazing-- our family loved the pool table, card table, and shuffle board table. Our fav room of the house was easily the theatre room! Amazing views everywhere! From even before the moment that we arrived, the hosts had already sent me a personal text letting me know their home was ready for check-in and that they would be available if we needed anything. They allowed us to check in 2 hours early! Also, our trip unfortunately got cut short due to the terrible winter blast, so we had to check out on Thurs instead of Sat in order to make it down the mountain prior to the ice & snow. The hosts went above and beyond, and did things they did not have to do, out of the goodness of their heart! My family takes 2-3 trips per year, staying in various ABNB's, VRBO's, etc. This was EASILY a top 3 experience for us, even tho it was cut short! The house and amenities were incredible, but the hosts were even better! The BEST hosts we've ever had! Cannot say thank you enough! We would love to come back!

Perfect Family Getaway

If you’re debating whether to book this cabin, let this be your sign to do it! This place was everything we hoped for and more for our large family. We had all ages represented, and everyone was comfortable and happy.While there isn’t much right in Brasstown, we ventured to nearby towns for a few activities, but we all agreed that next time, we’ll just stay put. The cabin itself has everything you need for a perfect getaway.We cooked all our meals in the fully equipped kitchen, spent hours around the pool table and in the theater room (which our teens and the guys especially loved), enjoyed s’mores around the fire, and enjoyed plenty of peaceful porch time taking in the views and fresh mountain air. The owners reached out before our trip to make sure we had everything we needed and to let us know they were available if anything came up but honestly, everything was perfect. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and truly felt like home. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful fall gathering with family

My sisters and our spouses and adult children love to gather in the NC Mountains every other year to enjoy the cool change of season and the change of leaves. We picked the perfect spot this year. The Outlaw Mountain Lodge was ideal for our group of 8 as we were able to spread out when we wanted and also we could share the living area on the main level during meals and just relaxing time. The pool table and movie room downstairs was great and got lots of use. We also loved the fire pit and were able to use it twice. The owners offered nice touches like some goodies upon arrival with a nice welcome card, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels for our stay, and a plastic bag with trash bags for the oversize trash can, dishwasher pods, etc. They really thought of everything. As we were preparing to leave, we discussed leaving a review and agreed the main thing we wanted to suggest is that the hot water heater for the number of people we had was not sufficient. We realized very quickly we had to stagger our showers in order for everyone to get a hot shower. We really enjoyed out stay and the home was beautiful, nicely decorated and clean. We would consider staying again for sure.

Amazing and Accomidating!

This property is fantastic! There's all the spices and dishes you need in the kitchen, snuggle blankets, firewood, a great view, tons of movies and comfy beds. The staff is also very easy to contact. We lost a phone and they contacted us and mail it back! You will love it here!
