A hidden gem on beautiful Lake Macquarie! The house is a clean, modern and relaxing spacious waterfront house on the NSW Central Coast. It’s only a 90 minute drive from Sydney and that means less time driving and more time to enjoy the serene environment. This is an amazing place for boating, fishing or having a BBQ and drinks on the deck while enjoying north facing lake views.
We are well stocked with quality environmentally friendly products and inclusions such as organic linens, organic towels, organic tea, natural toiletries, while the rooftop solar system powers your electrical needs during the day.
Surrounding: • There is a bottle shop on the same street only a two minute walk away. • Public Boat ramp and jetty approx. 250m away from the house. • There is a public swimming area next to the Boat ramp. • Kids play grounds approx. 300m away from the house. • Local shopping centre including Woolworths, pharmacy, restaurants and more is just 1.5km away. • Lake Munmorah State Recreation Park with excellent walking trails and beaches is only a 7 minutes’ drive • The famous Catherine Hill Bay surf beach and The Pink Caves is only 10 minutes away. • The Ghosties and Moonee Beach is only 12 minutes away • For a further adventure the Watagan Mountains for hiking and 4WD is only 50 minutes away.
House Layout:
Ground Level: • Open Living/Dining room with water views, including TV, L-shaped lounge, coffee table, dining table with 8 chairs. • Kitchen with water views! Gas cooktop, oven/grill, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, toasted sandwich maker, fridge, dishwasher, full table ware and glassware, well-stocked with crockery and cooking utensils. • Huge undercover deck with expansive water views, including a gas BBQ, outside table with 8 seats, kids treadmill, relaxing hanging “egg” chair. • Bedroom 4 contains two single beds, table. • The maximum high of garage is 1.9m. There is a back door of garage. you can manage a small boat by hand from the backyard to the water. There are four kayaks in the Garage. • Lower ground floor bathroom/laundry with water views including a shower, vanity, toilet, washing machine and dryer. • Outside under cover area including a coal BBQ, kids bicycle.
First Level: • Bedroom 1 with water views including a king bed, built-in wardrobe, bedside table, desk and chair, ceiling fan. • Bedroom 2 has a king bed, built-in wardrobe, bedside table, celling fan. • Bedroom 3 with water views includes one single bed with a sofa double bed. Please be aware that the double sofa bed will only be made up for bookings of more than 7 people. • Bathroom includes a spa bath, shower, vanity. • Separate toilet with a hand wash vanity.

Things to do:
Fishing - Lake Macquarie is a recreational fishing haven and is one of the largest coastal saltwater lakes in Australia. There is a wide range of fish including tailor, bream, whiting, flathead, etc. Boating - enjoy all the water sports from your backyard and not have to worry about loading the car and driving to get access. Large back yard – There is a fire pit in front of the outside table with 6 chairs. Grab some drinks and sit outside with fantastic water views to enjoy the native birds, spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of grass area for backyard cricket!
Kayak
The use of the kayaks is at your own risk. No liability will be taken if they are used. Life jackets or vests can be found in the garage. There are two adult size and two children size vests. If they do not fit, we strongly discourage those guests from using the kayaks
Pets
Generally, pets are allowed in this holiday house, however we only allow well behaved dogs to stay. sorry, currently we only allow maximum one dog to stay no cat. Prior to your booking you must email the breed, age, and number of dogs for us to consider. Please note there will be an additional charge of $30 per booking and any damage caused is the dog owners’ responsibility and to be paid for by the dog owner. Also dogs are strictly only allowed at ground floor/lower ground floor levels and not first floor carpet area, and not on the beds and sofa due to some of our guests may have pet allergies. Please don’t risk bringing a noisy dog because the neighbourhood is very quiet and neighbourhood complaints could lead to your booking to be cancelled.

We provide all organic bedding linen and towels except beach towels.
Other Things to Know
• Strictly no parties. Try not to make loud noises outside and abide by the NSW Code of Conduct for Short Term Rentals. • The backyard is fenced, however please watch your children for their safety. • Upstairs and Hallway built-in cupboards are locked not access by visitors. • Only left side of garage can use not right side. • Please clean the BBQ prior to leaving. There is an addition charge if you don't clean and need a cleaner to take care of. • the property is protected by external security camera’s to help keep the property and guests safe.

Smoking in the house is not permitted. An additional cleaning cost of $50 minimum will be charged to guests who do so.

The place was very welcoming and had everything that we required. It was pet friendly which was a bonus. The host were lovely and contacted us during our stay.
We had a wonderful time. The view and the serenity of the place are amazing. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. We had a great stay. The house was in a nice quiet spot. We loved sitting on the back deck looking out over the lake. The boys loved kayaking on the lake for a fish. Highly recommended and very clean.

The house is located in a quiet street perfect for a getaway. The view from the back part of the house over looks the lake which is beautiful quite and great place to unwind. The place was well equipped with lots of personal touches by the host. The beautiful toiletries in the bathroom, dog towel and bowls, fire pit all set and ready to go and extensive instructions. I would definitely recommend this place.
Well equipped house in a beautiful location. It suited our group of 'old' friends catching up very well. The location was perfect for our kayaks but the weather wasn't until our second day. Handy to have Woolworths & the Asian restaurant very close by & walking tracks.
Very clean, tidy and comfortable family holiday home. The aspect through the back yard to the lake is spectacular. No grocery stores, cafes or restaurants within walking distance.
Beautiful location.
Only downside was the two single beds and mattresses in the downstairs bedroom need to be replaced. Those were sinking uncomfortable and beds were making sqeaky noise.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. The waterview is awesome and we spent several hours just watching the world go by on the deck! House is more than adequate equipped with kitchenware, bedlinen, towels, toiletries etc.... Our dog had a wonderful time too in the safe backyard. Hosts are wonderful and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay here again when holidaying in the Central Coast
My family and I booked a weekend away and we couldn’t fault a thing. The house was beautiful and there was so many activities for all different age ranges. The property managers were phenomenal to deal with. We will definitely recommend this property to others and we will be booking again for ourselves in the near future. 10/10.
Kitchen and bathroom all excellent, could not find fault. Kitchen was especially superb, everything was clean and at our disposal. One of our guests was 76 years old and we would have been happier if there was a hand rail from the main floor to the downstairs bathroom
This is a great property that was very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Awesome verandah. We quiet community. We sat out side the majority of our time watching the water and boys fish. Communication with Helen and John was excellent. We would consider staying there again.
A fantastic home on the Lake with everything needed for a wonderful holiday
We spent most of our time on the deck and on the lake. The home has everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Everything was set up perfectly, clean and obviously thought through by the owners in detail. The view and deck was amazing. Wildlife galore, lots of fish to catch if thats your thing and a lovely waterfront park. Parking was plentiful at the front with lots of space for the boat and cars. Our family wound down and lived the good life!! Perfect Holiday.
We had a very relaxing stay at this location. The setting is picturesque, the lake view is beautiful, on-line photos were true to form. Our party of nine family members from 4yrs to 70years had a great time. There were activities to occupy the little ones and the adults too. Kitchen was well equipped. Check in instructions with relevant information were well prepared and easy to navigate. The owners were quick to respond with queries. We will definitely return and also recommend to friends.
I have stayed on Lake Mac for many years at Summerland Point and never considered CVB before. That changed this year and we found a true hidden gem. The house was immaculately presented - the hosts have put in a lot of thought in order to provide a fabulous experience with everything needed for our stay.Watefront reserve with easy anchoring only metres from shore provided simple access to use the boat when needed. A well sheltered boat ramp only 300 metres away. Canoes were provided by the hosts and the sheltered bay was great to explore.An added bonus of an uniterrupted view of NYE fireworks at Trinty Point was a treat we didn't expect.
