★ Spacious, spotless, and so easy to settle into, felt like home.
Tucked into one of New Orleans' most storied neighborhoods, this Creole-style Uptown home draws you in with its historic character and the kind of easy rhythm that only this city delivers. June in New Orleans means lazy mornings with coffee on the shaded patio, long evenings in the living area with the ceiling fans turning overhead, and nights that end in a deep, cool room with blackout shades pulled tight. Whether you're here for a festival, a family trip, or simply to soak up Uptown, this home gives you a genuine place to land.
Living space The main living area is open and welcoming, filled with natural light that plays off the home's Creole architectural details. A Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi keep you connected when you want to be, and the dedicated workspace - set in a common space - means remote workers won't need to compromise. Ceiling fans, central air conditioning, and central heating keep the climate exactly where you want it, no matter the time of year.
Sleeping arrangements Three bedrooms are dressed with plush beds, soft bed linens, and room-darkening shades that make sleeping in feel like a genuine luxury. The home sleeps up to six guests across three beds, with hangers, closet space, a walk-in closet, and a dresser ensuring everyone has room to settle in properly.
Kitchen & dining The chef's kitchen is built for real cooking - stocked with an electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and microwave, plus cooking basics, dishes, silverware, a toaster, and a baking sheet. A drip coffee maker and complimentary coffee are on hand for slow mornings, and the dining table is the natural gathering spot for meals together. The patio is just steps away if you'd rather eat outside under the open sky.
Bathroom Two full bathrooms are well-appointed and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hair dryer. A classic clawfoot bathtub adds a touch of timeless New Orleans charm, alongside an updated walk-in shower with hot water on demand. Cleaning products and all the essentials are provided throughout.
Outdoor living Step outside into a fully fenced private backyard - a quiet, enclosed space where kids can roam freely and adults can unwind with an evening drink. Outdoor furniture makes the private patio a natural extension of the living space, ideal for morning breakfasts or late-night conversations. Free street parking is available right outside, and the single-level layout of the home ensures easy, step-free access for all guests.
Convenience & extras In-unit washer and dryer, an iron, a safe, and a private entrance make longer stays genuinely comfortable - and long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome. Families traveling with little ones can request a Pack 'n Play/travel crib or a folding high chair (with padding, straps, and food tray), and babysitter recommendations are available on request. The home is covered by smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, and exterior security cameras. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival simple, and cleaning is available during your stay.
Location Four blocks from the buzz of Magazine Street, you're in easy reach of neighborhood cafés, boutiques, bars, and the riverfront. The streetcar connects you quickly to the French Quarter, the Superdome, and Audubon Park - making this home just as well-placed for Mardi Gras and festival season as it is for a quieter Uptown escape.

Easy spot to navigate to Super Dome and Uptown/Tulane area with walking distance to Magazine Street shops and restaurants and cute coffee shops. Plenty of on street parking availability. Host was easy to reach and accommodating for an early check-in as we had dinner reservations we needed to get cleaned up for our first night. Great option for our party of 5. Only thing I would caution is that one of the two bathrooms has a claw foot tub/shower combo that was a little tricky to get in and out of even for middle-aged people- we made our parents (late 70s) use the other walk-in shower bathroom. I'm going to suggest to the owners that a grab bar or something be installed.

Thanks for the 5-star review! Glad the location, parking, and early check-in worked well for your group of five. Appreciate the heads-up about the claw-foot tub; that’s helpful feedback, and we’ll look into adding a grab bar or other assistive option. We’d love to host you again next time you’re in New Orleans.
Nice and updated space and we loved walking to the restaurants on Magazine St

Comfy beds, great fixtures, thoughtful host. A plus location especially if you are a former resident or visiting residents. A true neighborhood gem in my favorite part of the city.
This place had all the amenities you could need. Very impressed with the medicine cabinet. Glad we didn’t need anything but it was very thoughtful for them to provide something If you needed it in a pinch.

Happy to have hosted you and so glad that you enjoyed staying in our home!
Great location, very walkable to Magazine, Rouse's grocery, and Tipitina's music venue. We had a lovely stay and property was as advertised. I did have to reach out a couple of times to get information on check-in, including the day of travel. It would have been a bit smoother if the host had communicated pro-actively but other than that, no issues!

NOLA 2024
Let's start out with all the good stuff. Great spot. Easy walk to Magazine. Just a few blocks to Rouse's Market (awesome). Beds were super comfortable. Tons of really good pillows. Kitchen had nice glasses and silverware which is often not the case in rentals. Bathrooms super clean. Better than advertised.
On the downside, communication was not good. Confusing texts and emails from various sources. I'm not even sure who the host was. Strange forms to fill out, one of them at the last minute, strange robotic communications. Did not get move in information until after check in time.
Overall the house worked well for my family. The kitchen needs a toaster and a few more cutting boards. The only problem we encountered was the front door lock. I think it is partially broken and was difficult to use.
