★ Spacious, spotless, and so easy to settle into, felt like home.
Step outside the ordinary and into one of Uptown New Orleans' most storied neighborhoods. This Creole-style home carries the soul of the city - high ceilings, rich character, and that particular ease that makes New Orleans feel like it belongs to you. Whether you're here for the music, the food, or simply to slow down, this is the kind of place that makes it all feel effortless.
Living space The main living area is warm and welcoming, filled with natural light that plays off the home's historic details. Ceiling fans hum overhead, central air conditioning keeps things comfortable through the city's humid autumn days, and a Smart TV is ready for quiet evenings in. A dedicated workspace in the common area means remote workers can stay productive without giving up atmosphere.
Sleeping arrangements Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests, each dressed with soft bed linens, hangers, and room-darkening shades that make mornings entirely optional. Clothing storage is well covered across a walk-in closet, additional closet, and dresser - plenty of room to unpack and settle in.
Kitchen & dining The chef's kitchen is the real heart of this home. Fully equipped with an electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and microwave, it has everything you need to cook with confidence. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, a toaster, a baking sheet, and a drip coffee maker with complimentary coffee are all included. Pull up to the dining table for a proper sit-down meal, or take it outside to the patio for an al fresco option.
Bathrooms Two full bathrooms are stocked with the essentials - shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel. The standout is the classic clawfoot tub, ideal for a long soak after a day on your feet. An updated walk-in shower rounds out the space, and a hair dryer and iron are also available.
Outdoor living The fully fenced private backyard is a genuine bonus in a city neighborhood - a quiet retreat where children can play safely or adults can decompress with a drink. Comfortable outdoor furniture makes the patio an easy spot for morning coffee or an evening wind-down. Free street parking is available, and the single-level layout means no stairs throughout the home.
Convenience & safety Fast WiFi, an Ethernet connection, and a dedicated workspace keep you connected. In-unit washer and dryer handle laundry without any trips to a laundromat. Traveling with little ones? A Pack 'n Play with sheets and a folding high chair are available upon request, and babysitter recommendations can be provided. The home is equipped with exterior security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. A safe and smart lock with self check-in complete the setup.
The neighborhood Four blocks from Magazine Street puts you within easy reach of independent cafés, boutique shops, bars, and local restaurants. The streetcar connects you to the French Quarter, Audubon Park, and the Superdome without the hassle of driving - ideal whether you're here for festival season, Mardi Gras, or a relaxed Uptown escape. A private entrance means you come and go entirely on your own terms.

Easy spot to navigate to Super Dome and Uptown/Tulane area with walking distance to Magazine Street shops and restaurants and cute coffee shops. Plenty of on street parking availability. Host was easy to reach and accommodating for an early check-in as we had dinner reservations we needed to get cleaned up for our first night. Great option for our party of 5. Only thing I would caution is that one of the two bathrooms has a claw foot tub/shower combo that was a little tricky to get in and out of even for middle-aged people- we made our parents (late 70s) use the other walk-in shower bathroom. I'm going to suggest to the owners that a grab bar or something be installed.

Thanks for the 5-star review! Glad the location, parking, and early check-in worked well for your group of five. Appreciate the heads-up about the claw-foot tub; that’s helpful feedback, and we’ll look into adding a grab bar or other assistive option. We’d love to host you again next time you’re in New Orleans.
Comfy beds, great fixtures, thoughtful host. A plus location especially if you are a former resident or visiting residents. A true neighborhood gem in my favorite part of the city.
This place had all the amenities you could need. Very impressed with the medicine cabinet. Glad we didn’t need anything but it was very thoughtful for them to provide something If you needed it in a pinch.

Happy to have hosted you and so glad that you enjoyed staying in our home!
Great location, very walkable to Magazine, Rouse's grocery, and Tipitina's music venue. We had a lovely stay and property was as advertised. I did have to reach out a couple of times to get information on check-in, including the day of travel. It would have been a bit smoother if the host had communicated pro-actively but other than that, no issues!

NOLA 2024
Let's start out with all the good stuff. Great spot. Easy walk to Magazine. Just a few blocks to Rouse's Market (awesome). Beds were super comfortable. Tons of really good pillows. Kitchen had nice glasses and silverware which is often not the case in rentals. Bathrooms super clean. Better than advertised.
On the downside, communication was not good. Confusing texts and emails from various sources. I'm not even sure who the host was. Strange forms to fill out, one of them at the last minute, strange robotic communications. Did not get move in information until after check in time.
Overall the house worked well for my family. The kitchen needs a toaster and a few more cutting boards. The only problem we encountered was the front door lock. I think it is partially broken and was difficult to use.
