Sexton Shores is previously known as the "Million Dollar View". This is a family and pet- friendly home. Take in the 180-degree view of the ocean from anywhere on the wrap-around deck, living, dining, master bedroom, and kitchen. Oceanside is floor-to-ceiling glass with vaulted wood ceilings. This house is uniquely set right on the bluff. You can't get any closer to the beach and ocean! Watch mama seals tend to babies on the rocks or view extensive wildlife. Enjoy watching the ocean tides from this cozy home and spacious patio.

There's a private road with no traffic that leads to the cul-de-sac where the home is located at the end. Two houses down is a private staircase that will lead you to a secluded cove along the coast. Larger south side yard has an open, manicured yard for games and relaxation. Nicely landscaped yard and massive trees enhance the ocean views.

The open floor plan offers easy traffic flow for guests and comfortable seating for 10-12 in the spacious living room. The dining room has a table for 6 people which extends to comfortably seat 8. Recently painted exterior and updated decor. Original vaulted wood ceiling in living & dining room. The kitchen is stocked for 12; with extra serving plates, bowls, glasses, and extensive cookware. Completely furnished for cooking meals or snacks.

Wake up to see the ocean from the primary bedroom with a king bed. Walk-in closet and attached full bath with both tub and separate shower. The second bedroom is spacious and easily accommodates a king bed and a fold-out couch (queen) with access to the side yard with a private sliding glass door. The third bedroom has a queen mattress and attached half bathroom, this room also has a private sliding glass door with access to the larger main yard to take in the ocean views on a small attached patio section. This room has the private half bath attached. Second full bath is located in the hallway between the two bedrooms, closest to the garage entry. This bathroom has a walk-in shower with 4 shower heads.

Walking through the updated garage, there is the attached laundry room with a newer washer, dryer and small utility sink. The garage offers a second fridge/feezer, BBQ, beach chair storage and garage parking for your car if you desire. This home offers a large and long drive for easy parking, resurfaced end of 2023.

Comfy, clean, and fantastic!

This is our third year of a girls trip to this great house. It’s so very clean, beautiful views, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. A new addition this year is a very comfy big recliner sofa. The beachcombing was great this year for rocks or small driftwood. We enjoyed eating at Catalyst and Fat Irish Pub. And of course enjoyed some ice cream at Slugs and Stones. It’s a great place for a relaxing vacation when you need to rejuvenate.

As Good as it Gets

We love this place! The view is spectacular and the house has everything we need. The owners do a great job of maintaining the house and have upgraded over the years. Lots of places say they have a well-stocked kitchen but this place actually does. We are all looking forward to our next visit to Sexton Shores!

Great “Adult Camp” location

We were a party of 8, 4 couples and had an amazing time! The weather and views were just amazing. It was a much needed break from the extreme heat in Northern California. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is amazingly stocked with everything you could ever need. Loved it and we’ll be back again!

For the third year in a row, we've had an amazing time. The home is perfect and the environment couldn't be better. You're so popular, we cannot get in next year. Heading to Lincoln City in hopes of continuing our tradition. We hope to find a home as nice as this one.

Relaxation and Beauty

We spent the most peaceful 40th wedding anniversary. It was a much needed trip for the two of us. The house was very welcoming and well stocked. All we needed to bring was our personal belongings and food. The walks on the beach and views from the house and front porch were breathtaking. We didn't want to leave.

Perfect Southern OR Coast

This is in an excellent location to kick back, explore and enjoy the southern OR coast. The deck/home has a stunning view of the coast. The photos represent the home very well. We had our morning coffee, explored the coast line (so many places to check out near by)and spent the late afternoon and evenings on the deck. The home is perched above what is essentially a private beach, with easy access (like half a block way). The home is very clean and has everything you need, including the basics such a plenty of foil, plastic wrap, wax paper, kitchen towels, dishware and paper towels, which we appreciated. We cooked all of our meals during our stay. We will stay again, it is beautiful, pet friendly and very well maintained!

There was some dog hair in the kitchen and living room. The master bedroom’s bathroom had a very dirty rug. There was no dishwasher soap or garbage bags. It’s a beautiful place and a very nice house. We had a good time. We bought our own dish soap and clean up the dogs hair and washed the rug.

Home Away from Home

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed for almost two months at this beautiful home. It was great to walk the beach everyday without having to get in the car. My husband could sit in one of the living room chairs and watch the ocean and wildlife all day! The house is comfortable, gorgeously decorated, and well-furnished with everything you need and then some. We took the time to visit other nearby beaches as well. Nice quiet town. Enjoyed the Art Festival. Property managers are the best, helpful written insructions in a binder, plus they provided the documentation needed for us to get temporary library cards. But the absolute best part was living in this terrific home on the coast and pretending it was ours, if only for a while. Book, go, you will love it!!

Wonderful

The views were incredible, and the beds were quite comfortable. Plenty of towels and blankets were supplied. The kitchen is well-stocked with glasses, cookware, and utensils. The only "complaint" is that there wasn't a garage door opener, so every time we left, someone had to manually close and leave through the mandoor, but it wasn't a big deal. A few minor issues with one of the main bathrooms (the shower light wouldn't turn off and the toilet kept running (easy fix) and a few lightbulbs over the table were burnt out - again, not a big deal. The weather was unseasonably warm, so we enjoyed the private, rocky beach every day. In fact, the weather was so lovely that we spent much less time at the house than we intended—it's the perfect location for sightseeing north and south. Highly recommend! We'd stay here if we travel back to the area.

Booked for the view

We took a family vacation to Brookings to see the ocean waves and the Christmas light show they have in town at the park. PROS: Overall the house has amazing views. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds will put you into the best sleep possible. Our daughter loved watching the waves and the humming birds from the large windows. The view is so beautiful and the ease of getting down to the private beach is only 2 houses over. You could easily fit a large family in this home or rent this and the one next door for a get together. Tucked away and gives you a private feeling. Million dollar sunset views with the seals swimming away below. Even with the cons listed below we would stay again. CONS: the house next door is a rental as well and they share a yard on one side of the home. The outside lights would not turn on at all, only one solar light outside the slider with the large room with couch worked. There is no fenced side yard as advertised at all. There is a tv cable sticking out of the floor that if you stepped on it you would easily need a doctor visit so we covered this while staying at the home. Being a pet friendly home it’s understandable to have smells of other animals but the rugs in the living room need replaced they are falling apart from being heavily marked. There is also a major leak when it storms in one of the large bay windows.
