This renovated home is well appointed with everything you would need during your getaway, family gathering, or business trip. Due to the corona virus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect all touched surfaces between reservations.

Although the property is nestled in a beautiful heavily wooded neighborhood and feels like you are miles away from everything, it is conveniently and centrally located to everything. It is 20-25 minutes from all the colleges: UNC, NC State, & Duke. Only a short 15 minute drive to downtown Raleigh, 3.5 miles to Crabtree Valley Mall, and 2.5 miles to Brier Creek shopping. Umstead State Park, with its beautiful lakes, walking and biking trails, is only 1 mile away. RDU International Airport is only 10 minutes away.

It is warm and comfortable with many amenities, including a wood burning fireplace, large flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen, washer/ dryer, lovely screened in porch with an adjacent open deck and a Weber gas grill. Sit around the fire pit to sit and enjoy the cool evenings.

This home is the perfect combination of privacy and convenience. It is tucked away on a beautiful lot with mature trees. There is shopping, hiking, and restaurants as close as 6 minutes away.

Peaceful stay

The property is beautiful, cozy and quiet. We were staying in Raleigh for a race and we wanted to be close to the park, close to a grocery store, in a quiet neighborhood, in a comfortable house. This property met every single need. We loved the screened in porch and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive when I had questions through out the process. I would highly recommend this home and will definitely stay at it on our next trip.

Raleigh wedding

We were attending a family wedding in Raleigh. A few of the weekend venues were in Durham so this location was perfect. Clean, comfortable and the hosts actually had breakfast essentials left for us! Very cute home with excellent amenities. Truly a home away home!

Fantastic Choice!

This was the most well-equipped, homey rental I have ever experienced! We especially loved the screened in porch for reading and chatting while watching the family of deer graze in the yard. We 100% recommend this location. We would love to stay here again if the opportunity were to arise.

Home Away From Home

Wonderful property! Stayed 5 nights for NCSU graduation week/weekend. Close to Lake Lynn Park, RDU airport and Crabtree Valley Mall and not too far to PNC Arena, NCSU and downtown Raleigh. Comfortable beds and gathering spaces including a screened porch, well stocked kitchen and gorgeous yard. Great communication with host. We definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great place to stay

It's 15 minutes from RDU airport but far enough away so you hardly hear any planes. Very clean. Easy to find. And it was centrally located for us. We'll probably come back next year.

Traveling with our three children on vacation when they were young was always fun, but we learned that hotels were not always the most accommodating. Years ago we tried VRBO and were hooked right away. Our children and sometimes extended family could travel with us and have plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other in a comfortable home setting. Because of this, we always dreamed of owning our own vacation home.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I have lived in the area for the past 10 years and absolutely love it! Our neighborhood is a jewel in the middle of Raleigh. These are older homes with lots of character, nestled in large wooded lots that make it feel like you are miles away out in the country. We love it so much, that when a home in the area became available, we thought it would make the perfect vacation home. After a couple of months of renovating and updating this lovely home, we are ready to share it with others. We hope you love our home as much as we do!

Whether you are sitting by the fireplace in the comfy overstuffed chair with your favorite book or outside in the large open screened-in porch, this home begs you to relax.
