Beach access is directly across the street — cross the road and a shaded path leads to the white sand in under a minute. Made in the Shade B is a Holmes Beach vacation rental where the location does most of the work. Guests come back year after year — one stayed for 21 days and described the unit as bright, clean, and well-stocked throughout.

The private patio has a gas grill for evening cookouts and outdoor seating for the mornings before the beach day begins. Beach chairs and an umbrella are provided — grab everything and walk across the street. Shared on-site laundry handles the week's beach clothes.

The bedroom has a king bed. A pullout sleeper sofa in the living room handles two more guests, sleeping four total. One full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home — updated appliances and well-stocked for extended stays. High-speed WiFi and cable TV included.

Publix, Walgreens, and the free Anna Maria Island trolley are two blocks away — one of the most walkable positions in Holmes Beach for everyday errands and island exploring without moving the car.

Pets are welcome with approval — contact IVP before booking with a pet. One parking space included.

Made in the Shade B requires a one-week minimum stay.

credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

Our half of the duplex was very comfortable for the two of us. It was clean and furnished nicely. It had good beach access although we didn't know soon enough about the 29th street beach access. The location was quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

Updated unit just a few minutes walk to the beach

Nicely appointed unit with hotel quality bedding, more than sufficient kitchen supplies, adequate water pressure, and clean. Quick access to the beach via the 29th St access lines with gorgeous tropical foliage. One block to the free trolley stop which runs from Bean Point to Coquina Beach and plenty of shopping and restaurants in between.

Perfect location, steps from the beach and walking distance to Walgreens, Publix etc. Unit is small but was great for myself, husband, and toddler. Had all the essentials. Rental company was responsive, but we really didn’t need anything or have any issues during our stay. It would be nice if the backyard was landscaped. We would stay again.

The living room chair was not comfortable and the bed was very squeaky. Communication was great before checking in and during our 21 day stay. Amy T was wonderful to work with. She was kind, patient and understanding when searching for this place and after when we had questions or concerns before our arrival. We are very disappointed the unit is already booked for next year when we requested first rights to refusal and a hold for the next year when we booked last year. We hope to be back in the future.

Property poorly managed

The kitchen outlets weren't working, so I had to open a service request, which took 48 hours to resolve. The hosts were unreachable before the stay and during. The property is just meh. The backyard is abandoned, with chairs stacked in a corner and upside down, and other seats are missing cushions; that's another item I sent a message about and am still waiting on a response (LOL). Internet kept dropping connection on all devices making it a challenge to work. Router unreachable. Only one parking space is allowed. We won't ever be staying here again. This property is poorly managed and left much to be desired. Many other better options around.

The path to the beach is right across the street, not a busy street by the way, and is shady, with beautiful shrubbery. The rental unit was clean and had plenty of room for me and my husband..There is no grass but the gravel was small and clean. Palm trees line the fence edge for a tropical vibe. Side porch has a bistro table and we sat here daily. It is fairly close to the fence dividing the next door property but was a relaxing spot with shade. Screened in front porch was also great. Loved the rental and hope to return soon.
