Peaceful Get Away
We had difficulty with GPS and couldn’t find the location. We called Cindy and texted Cindy. We never heard back. We received assistance at a gas station. We were told there was a lock box with a key. There was not a lock box and the door was unlocked. We were not able to lock it if we left for a short trip. At first I thought the sheets hadn’t been changed, in the upstairs bedroom, there was an odor but I found the same odor in the downstairs bedroom. The exterior lights and decorations were appreciated. I would recommend the home to friends and family.

Amazing cabin, terrible property management
This cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. It was my fiancé, myself, our two kids (4 and 6) and my parents. The neighborhood was amazing. So much wildlife in the area and a very short drive to GSMNP. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We had a few issues, one being a terrible bed that made it impossible to sleep on one side, but the owner was very responsive and took care of everything. This is a new owner, and he immediately ordered a replacement. We loved the cabin so much, and were having such a great vacation, that we extended our stay from 8 nights to 10. Things could have been just a bit cleaner, but we made sure that we left the cabin cleaner than when we got there, and this definitely would not stop me from staying here again. My biggest issue (and only reason for not giving 5 stars overall) was with our contact with Evolve. When we contacted her with issues she initially said that she would take care of them after we checked out, though they did end up taking care of them ASAP. The maintenance guys had to come to the cabin to resolve issues twice, and both times they were much later than she had said they would be. The second time was to switch out the mattresses, and she initially said they would be there in 2 hours. After almost 3 hours I texted for an updated ETA and she said another 30 minutes. It was another 45. By the time time they left our plans were delayed almost 4 hours. This meant pushing back reservation

Has potential
This home needs a good cleaning and both beds need and I mean NEED new mattresses. The mattress was so bad that we bought a memory foam pad ( we stayed for 12 nights and no way could we have slept on the mattress for that long without some sort of padding) we left the memory foam there we have no need for it at our house. Both bathroom sinks were clogged, my husband took care of that and boy all the hair that he pulled out was gross. The kitchen cabinets need a good wash, they were painted white and I don’t know if ever cleaned since they were painted. I put away all the fall harvest decor because it was January… I would have been fine with Christmas but not harvest. Now it was very nice for the owners to have firewood there for you and the fireplace worked well, no smoke going into the home, but the fireplace was not cleaned out from the previous renters… we made sure we cleaned our ashes out. It was nice to cook and have conversation with others in the living room and the neighborhood is very quiet and close to Cades Cove. This home has great potential, replace those horrible mattresses and a good cleaning.

Nice cabin
Getting there wasn't bad. But the driveway was little for my truck and enclosed trailer for my bike, tuff time backing it in. Normally I like to be able to put bike on and off the trailer for safe keeping and was unable to do so at this location. Beautiful cabin though clean everything worked properly. Great location easy to find. No Hustle and bustle nice places to visit near by for food and entertainment. Caverns, cades cove, river tubing, grocery store, outside taco bar, barbecue, apple valley restaurant. Just to name a few plus Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville 29 minutes away. Would go back without my Harley-Davidson. Bear near by also. If it weren't for parking inconvenience I would stay there again.
