About this property

Now booking for 2026-2027

This is our family vacation retreat being offered for the first time in 2022. Ideally located in a gated community west of US 41 with easy access to beaches, dining, and shopping. The community is small and quiet, just 26 units in three 2 story buildings with a nature preserve to the the north and south and a lake behind. The unit is on the top floor overlooking the lake and is tastefully decorated with new kitchen appliances, tile floors, and modern comfortable furnishings.
The community has an outdoor heated pool, a fire pit, and available kayaks. Just minutes from Aldi and Publix with numerous dining options within walking distance including Mel's Diner, Pincher's Crab Shack, Paladdio Trattoria, Iguana Mia, and several fast food chains.
Beach access includes Barefoot and Bonita Beaches within 4 miles and state parks at Wiggins and Lover's Key just 15 minutes away. There are also multiple fitness locations nearby and walking or biking is easy exercise on the flat terrain.
The unit has everything you'll need to enjoy your stay as it is our family destination. As such, it contains a lot of our personal property and is more like house sitting for a good friend than getting an income rental. We will be particular in the type of guests we'll accept and prefer a mature couple looking to escape winter for a month.

Great location for visiting Bonita Springs and Naples

Enjoyed daily walks around gated community The only draw back for us was there was no place to charge our hybrid car I would encourage anyone staying long term to look into taking classes at the Bonita Springs Art Center

Two much personal stuff.

The fridge and pantry were full of other people’s food. The master bedroom toilet was not cleaned when we arrived. Other than that we really liked the location and the unit.

Hi Teresa, I'm sorry to hear the toilet wasn't properly cleaned prior to your arrival. According to the pictures the cleaning company sent me, it appeared clean. Would you mind being more specific as to what was not done so that I could address it directly with the cleaning company? I certainly want to prevent that from ever happening again. As far as the food in the pantry, as noted in your rental documents, there is non-perishable food kept in the pantry and renters are welcome to use it (and replace it) or ignore it. The rental documents and the rental description also state that there are some personal items in the closets. This property isn't solely a "rental" and our family uses the property regularly. It is our home away from home that we occasionally share with others, since we love it so much. We often arrive late at night and are unable (or too tired) to go to the store immediately upon arrival. We keep food there for this reason. We also store some personal items in the closets. Many of these personal items (beach chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear, etc.) are available for renters to use as well. I'm sorry you found them unpleasant. We're glad you enjoyed the location and the the unit!
