Disappointing
Steps and sidewalk to the house were layered stone, different sizes and heights with sharp edges, difficult to navigate and very dark and dangerous at night. Even with the porch lights on, the steps at the driveway are not lit up and very difficult to see.
The entry door requires a code to enter. In order to get the door lock to work, you have to hold the door so it is in a neutral position then enter the code, only then will the lock release. You have to do the same when leaving, or the door won't lock. We were lucky, the patio door was unlocked and my son opened the door from inside. It's obvious this door has been a problem in the past because the door frame has been damaged and repaired.
The sheets on the double bed looked like they were not cleaned or they were stored crumpled up. The towels were small and hand towels in the bathroom were kitchen towels. Towels were stained as were the floor shower mats. Linens and towels were very disappointing, have seen better in a three star motel.
Dishes, cups, glasses and cutlery in the cupboards were minimal. The dishes, cups and cutlery were probably decent but we didn't find most them until the last day, because we didn't look in the dishwasher!
It is a very quiet area, however, at night in the master bedroom, you can hear the sump pump cycle on and off every 30 seconds. Closing the closet door does help but not completely.
Would have been far less expensive and better to stay in a cheap hotel in Belleville.
