This vacation home on Norris lake was great! We had small finds that needed attention on our arrival and our guest specialist responded quickly and efficiently. The house was spacious and having the dock was a great addition. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen necessities which made it nice to fix our meals at home while being there for a week! Beds were very comfy and two of the bed rooms were exceptionally spacious. Will absolutely consider this lake house in our future trip plans!

Our family enjoyed our time at the lake. The dock was accessible by foot or by car for those that needed a lift down. Great for fishing a swimming. Close to the marina(s). Fully stocked with all your vacation and kitchen needs.

From the Owner: "We appreciate your stay and we are glad you had a great time. We welcome you back anytime."
What an awesome property! Everything was perfect. Plenty of space for my friends and I to celebrate my 40th Birthday! We spent our whole time on the dock and floating in the lake. It was so peaceful! The hill getting to the lake was a little steep. Parking at the dock was really convenient though, so if you couldn't walk you could always drive. FIVE STARS! Thank you for an amazing stay at Norris Lake!
This property is very nice and spacious. The host was very helpful with our questions before we arrived. I would recommend this property and we very well might stay here again.
Norris lake is gorgeous With beautiful clear water.

From the owner: Thank you very much for your stay. You are welcome back anytime. Per our conversation, you accidentally put a 1 instead of a 5 rating. Evolve has reached out to you about how to contact Vrbo to edit that. Once again, we look forward to your stay next year.
Nice place. Not as close to the water as pictured and firepit not close

From the owner: "Hi Renee, thank you for choosing our home for your stay. We apologize if the fire pit’s distance from the house wasn’t to your preference. Our fire pit is much bigger than the norm around the lake, and we prioritize safety and space on our 2-acre property. Evolve did a great job with the pictures showing the actual view to the water and you also have the simple 2-minute drive around the gravel lane. if you prefer not to take the 1 minute grass walk to the water. We hope to host you again!"
This property was very nice and clean. Very quiet neighborhood. The hillside is a bit much for older people to get up and down. We drove my mother around to get to the dock. Walmart is nearby as well as a other shopping and gas stations.

Great house for boating at Norris Lake. Clean, well-kept, well-furnished. Liked the labels on the cabinets for where everything is stored. The driveway is very steep so if you plan to take your boat to the house before launching, you will need a fairly powerful vehicle.

From the owner: "Thank you so much for your staying with us, Gregory. You’re welcome back anytime. There’s a car port on the flat part of the property by the driveway where a boat or trailer can be left. Everything in Tennessee is hilly but that's what makes it so beautiful."
We used the porch to play board games (we brought with us) during the rain. We swam in the Lake and took out the Kayaks. They kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nice with lots of fluffy towels. Many things to do at this property. As others have noted, not appropriate for people who aren't comfortable walking down the hill to the Lake. It wasn't a problem for us but it may be for some.

From the owner: "Thank you for your stay and welcome back anytime. As explained in the guest book you can drive around the point to the dock if you don’t want to walk down. There are signs where you can park 10ft from the water, next to the dock. We are glad you enjoyed your stay."

Amazing home!
We had an amazing stay in this home! Owner provided everything we could need plus some. Everything is labeled so makes for an easy clean up. The beds were great very comfortable! I will say this the hill to go down to the dock is steep so make sure you know that you can park down at the bottom, so you don’t have to walk up it. She did tell us about it in the binder in the home but it wasn’t until the second day we found it. So that is on us. :) I will be staying in this home again if she will allow me! Hopefully it will be more sunny and warmer. So we will be returning to this beautiful lake before summer ends.

Had potential but fell short
We had high hopes for this house but cleanliness and the management company ruined it.
PROS: the beds were very comfortable, AC kept up with 90° temps, the decks for my kids to play, the dock was very nice.
CONS: 2 used condoms found under a dresser when I love it away from the wall to plug my child’s baby monitor in. Management told me “the don’t move heavy furniture to clean” but I’m 5’7”, 140lbs and moved it on my own to plug the cord in. Grill also caught on fire because it was disgustingly filthy with grease buildup and I had to use the fire extinguisher to put it out. After I reported the fire to Evolve, I was questioned if I turned it on correctly and who I spoke to on the phone said to me “what did I expect, a new grill at every VRBO I rent?” HOW RUDE. I said “no, I just expect my family to be safe at your property.” I have pictures of everything and do not believe anything Evolve writes in response to this review defending their actions. The property manager asked how he could make it right and I said 50% refund for total cost of the trip. He said he would have to ask someone higher up and get back to me. It’s been a week and I’m clearly not getting any money back so I have a responsibility to report this horrible management to other potential renters of this property!
The location was wonderful- house was great size-wise and whatnot, but Evolve made it a zero-star rating.

Hi Kara, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:- The walk to the water is clearly laid out in our listing photos and referenced in our welcome book. However, for guests with mobility concerns, there is an option to drive and park within 15 feet of our private dock on the water.- The property had its carpets cleaned, including moving furniture, two weeks before your stay. After your 9:30 PM report, we promptly sent a cleaner who arrived within 75 minutes. A member of your party mentioned that the children had opened and hidden the condoms, which were likely from your group as they were not present after the last cleaning.- We apologize for the inconvenience of the light bulb issue. Our cleaner replaced the bulb as soon as we were notified.- The grill is brand new and inspected after each guest's stay. For safety, please supervise the grill while in use, as your absence triggered the neighbors' fire alarm. A grill brush is provided for additional cleaning if needed. Additionally, a new grill was delivered early the next morning for your convenience.Thank you for your insight, and please know that we strive to provide the best possible stay for our guests and take all feedback seriously to improve our services.
The house was very clean. The beds were all very comfortable. Having the grills available on the deck was very convenient. Driveway was much steeper than expected but manageable.
Great location kinda hard to park trailers but we managed! House is very nice and we’ll kept

Family Lake House Getaway!
We stayed here for a weekend in the winter. The house was very spacious, comfortable, clean and a short drive from 75. I loved being able to see the pretty lake and mountain views. Fantastic place for family fun! The set up was great for multiple families sharing one space. We can't wait to be back! We are definitely planning a summer trip to be able to enjoy the kayaks and other water activities.
