A beautiful apartment with tasteful and eclectic design. If you are looking for a space to spread out, a comfortable bed, impeccable cleanliness and quiet, I cannot recommend this more. The hosts are gracious and kind.
I had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous apartment. The bed is very comfortable, the space is meticulously clean and the interior design work is wonderfully eclectic. The hosts are gracious and accommodating. While it is close in to Edmonds, waking up in the morning and looking out the large bedroom window, you’ll feel like you are in the woods and you’ll want to continue lounging. If you are looking for a quiet setting with room to spread out, don’t pass this up.
Could not have asked for more. Beautiful apartment and terrific hosts! The location is ideally situated in Edmonds, with convenient access to downtown, local businesses and the highway for vacationing throughout the area. It was perfect!

Inspired in Edmonds!
This cozy and well appointed retreat was a delight and a surprise as we engaged with the books, the art and the finely designed furnishings. Rick has succeeded in creating a peaceful and thoughtfully curated home. We look forward to our next visit! How great to have discovered the beauty of Edmonds WA!
Beautifully decorated and very interesting. Clean and very well appointed. It would be a great stay in the summer. It was further away from our daughter than we had expected. Nice and warm.

Love it here!
Rick and Eric offer a quiet , eclectic apartment full of books and art and love. Quiet. Private. A very good find in the Seattle area. We hope to be back next year!
Really well done decor and amenities. The owner stages homes for a living and he did a great job of making this a very visually interesting while also making it comfortable and functional. It’s very spacious and well-appointed, has a full kitchen, a separate entrance. Book with confidence, this place won’t disappoint you.
Our son’s family lives a few blocks away so this is an ideal location for us. We love to walk along the water in Edmonds and it’s only a couple minutes down to the beach. The apartment is equipped with all the amenities that you might desire and decorated in an eclectic artistic manner. Everywhere you look there is something of interest. Loved our visit! We’ll definitely be back.

Relaxing and spacious
Well furnished apartment home set among a beautiful garden in a quiet neighborhood with mountain and water views just a short walk away. Close to downtown Edmonds with easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping and nature trails. Take a short drive for a day trip to Seattle, Deception Pass, or hop on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry to the Olympic Peninsula and return to a comfortable home with thoughtful amenities and plenty of space to spread out and relax. Lots of storage to unpack your bags and feel like you’re at home. I can’t forget to mention the comfortable bed that makes it so easy to sleep in and rest after a long day of excursions so you’re ready to rise and repeat!
Host could not be more accommodating and helpful. The space was immaculate, so very spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything you could think of was available. If I could give it more stars, I would. I travel often and do not receive such friendly service. I will definitely return.

Liked: Amenities
Pros: The garden was beautifully maintained and serene. The bathroom was nice and clean. Communication w the owner was very good.
Cons: The interior was old and cluttered w a lot of stuff - books, furniture, knick-knacks, stuff! The closets were dust-filled and had serious cob-webs. The mattress was old. The headboard of the bed - the vinyl was wearing thin. Privacy was lacking.

Hi Janine, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:- We bring a wealth of interior design expertise to our property, and several past guests have shared compliments about the decor. The photos were taken by a professional photographer so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect the property and guests can decide before booking if the decor meets their tastes.- When booking, you indicated two guests, but you arrived with three, exceeding our maximum occupancy of two. Despite this, we assisted with your needs and guided you to additional supplies, necessitating access to more closet space. Guests don't usually access these closets, and we kindly ask for your understanding regarding any incidental dust.- While we strive to ensure the comfort of all our guests, it's essential to note that mattress preferences are subjective and ours is only a few years old. Notably, we have not received any complaints about the mattress or the headboard in the past.- We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the landscapers maintaining the wheelchair path during your stay. Guest comfort and privacy are paramount to us. We made sure to address and express our apologies about this issue during your time with us.We have worked very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy and will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!

A house literally owned by an interior designer
I'm used to decent airbnbs or high rise apartments, but this place was just so wonderful.
It's beautiful, there's an entire movie room, and the aesthetics are unlike any other place you'll see - one of the owners is literally an interior designer.
Kitchen is absolutely stocked with everything you could want, great fridge, tons of space to work.
If you're working remotely and like natural light, tons of windows in the main room + a large desk, and if you're like my partner and I you can split between the main room and the movie room for work to have privacy and not talk over each other on zoom calls :D
The hosts are too kind, extremely helpful and wonderful people who I would absolutely have dinner with again given the chance.
And the floors are heated!! How is that even real. It was seriously one of my favorite stays of all time.
Very nice apartment in a location convenient for both Edmonds and Lynnwood. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. The beautiful garden is quite idyllic. We really enjoyed our stay.
We found many good points about our week at this property. Both inside and outside showcase wonderful designs and the wall of windows makes it easy to enjoy the garden even if the weather is rainy!
Other pluses include easy parking in a quiet neighborhood, the extreme cleanliness of the home, and a very comfortable bed. Both the kitchen and bath were quite well equipped. There were plenty of pots and pans and utensils in the kitchen and lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom.
The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. The only downside we found is that the property is a basement level, so that while the window-walled room has plenty of daylight, the kitchen and TV area is darker with a dark ceiling. It may be that we are more sensitive to this since we currently live in Florida and love all our sunlight. Despite this small concern, we would gladly book this property again the next time we are in the Seattle area.
