A great place to post up for a few days of skiing. Everything was clean and welcoming for our arrival. Easy access to the Skyway Grill! Very comfortable abd well stocked place to stay. Thank you!!!
Very comfortable cabin with space to spread out and enjoy the forest. The cabin was well appointed, clean and well maintained. The pellet stove was a welcome feature for warmth and atmosphere. Excellent communication from the host.

From the owner: "Zachary, it was a pleasure having you and your family stay at our cottage. Please consider coming to Rhododendron again."
Overall good experience. For some it may be too close to the road as you can hear cars when you are on the 2nd floor deck but we thought it was minimal. Surrounded by trees so it kept the cabin a great temperature. Also there is a small 5-10 hike on the trails and you will be at the Zig-Zag river. We had it to ourselves which is great for spring and summer. We used it a basecamp and went hiking up to Burnt Lake/Ramona FallsThe only issue we had was that in one of the bedrooms bedframe fell off and almost hit my daughter's head. I took pictures and let the contact know of the situation and put the frame on the rug so it would not hurt her. They told me they would let the property company know and then speculated that there must of been a lot of force to take it off. I let them know my daughter is not big and could not cause a lot of force and it have been loose previously which they disagreed with. I left it at that but did not appreciate the insinuation that she caused it. I thought I was doing the right thing by reaching out and letting be known. I would have preferred to reach out to the property management versus the owner so maybe property management should be the main point of contact

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin's setting, nearby trails, and access to the river, and that it served as a great basecamp for your outdoor adventures. We appreciate you bringing the bedframe issue to our attention and are sorry for the concern it caused. Guest safety is extremely important to us, and the issue was reviewed after your stay. We also appreciate your feedback regarding communication and will take it into consideration as we continue working to provide the best possible guest experience. Thank you for sharing your experience.
This is a very well thought out and managed property. It has room for 6-8 people, including the additional bedroom in the smaller building. Everything was convenient at the property and along rt. 26. And, individual room and pellet stove heating were excellent. The only drawbacks were one bathroom and the closeness to rt. 26. For my stay, though, neither was a problem. I would recommend this property highly,
Ellen Z.

College Tour/Ski trip
We arrived about an hour after check in time. We had already been contacted by the property managers welcoming us and letting us know it was warming up and ready for our arrival. It was exactly as the pics showed and the description of the property was spot on!! But the Mischievous Pellet Stove which had just gotten installed professionally was not wanting to cooperate. The property managers came from wherever and worked their magic and had it warm and running before we got back from night skiing. It stayed a consistent warmth and never did act up again during our entire stay!! Comfy beds throughout the house! Lots of hot water!! Great kitchen and well stocked. Plenty of room too spread out and with some great family games. Very convenient to a variety of ski resorts and some great night time cosmic sledding!!! We will most definitely be staying here at Sundance again!!

Great Get-Away!
This was a magical stay for us. We have not 'gotten away' for almost 3 years and this was the perfect experience. We wanted seclusion and be close enough to go out if we wanted to.
The cottage was immaculate. It has a unique architecture which was fun. There was way more of everything provided than we expected.
We did not use the TV, instead took walks and enjoyed the water.
Selena is kind and very available to anything questions we had..
