Charming cabin with beautiful wood paneling in living and dining room. In Fawnskin, with easy access to Big Bear. Perfect cabin for the two of us for a weekend getaway.

We really liked the quiet location. Clean sheets/blankets on the king. Mattress was okay. The towels were quite nice in both quality and cleanliness. New sponge in the kitchen, paper towels. Living room furniture was comfortable.Parking and access exactly as advertised. Door was difficult to open. Cabin smelled strongly of wood smoke. Refrigerator was off, which was a problem because we had groceries, including dairy products. Toilet seat had brown smears on it that we had to clean before we could use the toilet. The grout in the corners of the shower was black, as was some of it between the floor tiles. The bathroom floor was not clean. The photos misrepresent the cabin. They show a bright interior, but the actual lighting in the cabin is quite dim. That coupled with the difference in the bathroom appearance made us believe that we had been intentionally misled. The blanket on the twin bed did not look clean. The blinds in the bedroom don’t work and are very dusty. The windows had cobwebs in the corners (one had three dead flies in it). There were cobwebs on the wall above the king bed. We only used the right side of the kitchen sink for washing dishes because the smell from the garbage disposal was disgusting. We’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and this was by far the worst. It was definitely not up to the standards we’ve come to expect from VRBO. We will never again stay in a property managed by Big Bear Vacations.
