Wonderful, peaceful spot on Long Lake! 🙂
We stayed in the Retreat cabin with a deck right on the lake. It was cozy inside and a lovely spot to have your morning coffee on the deck… and lovely to watch the incredible sunsets at night.

Beautiful Cabin and site
If you are lucky enough to stay in a cabin on a lake in the mountains you are lucky enough! The cabin has years on it but that leads to its charm. It was very clean and well kept. We were able to sit in the chairs right on the lake, which was awesome. The area is amazing. We were there just past fall peak, so it was very quiet.
Our only struggle was with communication. We did not receive any directions prior to arrival, even after an email and phone call. Turns out the directions to enter the cabin were IN THE CABIN. The door was unlocked and the key was on the table. Just felt kind of weird letting ourselves in. There are a couple other cabins on the site and then the owners cabin. All were empty, so we weren't really sure what was going on. In addition the directions said to put trash in the shed with the electric fence around it. There were no instructions on how to get around the fence! It seemed obvious, but I would hate to make a mistake and get shocked. We took a chance based on what made sense and were able to dispose of trash as directed.
Other than that is was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.
