We love the convenience of the location, the amenities, and a parking spot under the garage. The only thing I would suggest is placing a box fan in the bedrooms for guests to use. We love this complex because it's low density and less crowded even during July! Unit 304 was decorated nicely and had everything we needed. We had a few small issues when we arrived and Brooks and Shorey responded to my email right away and even sent a maintenance person to address it within 15 min. They really care about your experience and will do everything to make it great!

We come down with other family members and all stay in the same condo complex so we can be close to each other. We stayed in this room for the first time and loved that everything had been updated. The walk in shower with bench was great after the long days at the beach. My only complaint is that the balcony is located right about the pool, so at night the pool light shines directly up. Other than that we had no complaints.

Reviewer Comments: With its beach front location, price point of rental compared to nearby hotels,plus larger size of condo and how much more you get vs hotel room,it was a winner for us...We especially liked the barstool height table and chairs out on the large balcony, helps see over the railings nicely....The only suggestions we would have would be possibly add some handicap grab bars in the two showers, and maybe some combo shower heads with separate hand held sprayers...Other than that, everything about the unit was good and we were comfortable during our stay...Thanks to the owner's for sharing their unit with us...

The condo was perfect for our family and had all of the accommodations for less packing from home, as well as making our stay comfortable. The only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 on the cleanliness of the property is due to the floors. Our feet were black if we walked around bare footed in the condo. This has happened in years past in other condo's we have stayed in too, so I am wondering if they are using a cleaning solution or wax that is contributing to this? I dont have a reason to believe it was just dirty, because the rest of the condo was super clean!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 4th time in a row we have stayed in one of the Gulf Dunes condos. This was the first time we had any sort of issues. While it wasn’t the worst place we have stayed there are a few things that need attention. The ice maker leaked and made it difficult to open the freezer drawer (and lots of ice cubes wouldn’t make it into the bin), the main sliding door didn’t want to stay closed and the lock is broken, the sliding door in the master bedroom was so difficult to open and close so we really didn’t bother and it didn’t close completely so it wouldn’t lock either. Maintenance was informed and he came to check it out but said he couldn’t do anything about any of it. Smh. Upon our arrival inspection, the dishwasher had not been run by the previous renters therefore the dishwasher was still soiled and we found many dishes had been put away that weren’t clean :/ One of the lamps in the master couldn’t be turned off at the lamp due to the switch being broken or lost, therefore we were in able to use the outlet next to the bedside for my phone charger because it was linked into the wall switch and would shut off when we would turn off the lamps at bedtime. We also had to request more wash cloths because we were only provided with 3. I know these aren’t major issues but when you pay almost $2,000 to stay 6nights it’s annoying. Lastly, the tvs need to be updated and a nice shower curtain to cover the clear liner in the main bathroom would’ve been nice. And some of this could’ve been avoided with proper housekeeping inspection.

It was clean, comfortable, well-maintained and we had everything that we needed. Check-in was easy and just as described. The furnishings in the unit were up-to-date and there was adequate room and furniture on the balcony to serve a meal or just sit back, relax, and watch the waves. We have teenage kids and they enjoyed the beach. We were able to see them well from our unit and the views were amazing. It is the perfect get-away if you are looking for a place to relax and wind down. We plan to make a return visit and book the same unit.

If you are looking for a relaxing stay this is the spot. The Condo has a nice spacious balcony with great views of the emerald coast. Definitely a great place to stay.

Right on beach. Close to restaurants and activities. Took the Glass bottom boat tour . Saw lots of dolphin including ones only a few weeks old.
