Gokula Stay welcomes you to a tranquil space to enjoy your memorable holiday times or Respite.
Only a 500m stroll to the Esplanade which offers great pathways and breathtaking views over to Fraser (K’gari) Island. On the other side of the point, some of the most spectacular sunsets at Gatakers Bay is only 2.5 km away.
This 4 bedroom home suites, couples, families of all ages and has been designed to suite guests of all needs and we are pet friendly!
We offer all accessible amenities making sure everyone is able to be comfortable and enjoy their break away. We offer hospital bed, bed rails (optional), Zephair air mattress.(optional), full hoists, stand up hoist, sara stedy, multiple shower chairs to select from as well as a bed bath trolley. The walk in shower space is a massive 1.5m x 1.5m providing plenty of room and no glass walls. The Lotus Room being the accessible bedroom is 6m x 6m allowing ample space to be comfortable where you can park up your powered wheelchair and it won't be in the way.
We welcome pets as well!!

So much more than we ever expected

Check-in was a breeze; the house is beautifully setup with an ergonomic layout, complimentary coffee, tea, cookies and muffins, our new puppy was allowed to stay with us, the place felt that way that we wouldn't have had to go anywhere else. We really enjoyed this place!

I stayed with my elderly parents and adult children. This property was wonderful as my parents have restricted mobility and they both felt very comfortable with moving around as a lot of thought has gone into making this home suitable for elderly and the disabled. There was also plenty of room to have your own space if you wish to. We all loved the variety of birds that visited daily.

OMG what a beautiful place to stay. I also had my disabled son and daughter with me and this house is one of the best set ups we have stayed at. We will be back and hopefully stay longer next time. 🙂

Gokula Stay-we treat every booking with care and will design your stay to effect the unique needs for your holiday. Gokula stay is self managed giving you the absolute top standard of cleanliness, with great care in all linen washing throw pillows and rugs as well.
This beautiful home is designed for couples, families small and large and All accessible and pet friendly accommodation. Walk in showers, grab rails, hoists, electric bed, ramp, on-site parking room for a caravan or boat and so much more.

Why they chose this property

Gokula Stay is a fantastic respite or holiday home, very spacious and in a lovely quiet location. It also has great wheelchair access and offers a range of mobility and disability aids, including electric style hospital beds (including pressure care mattress), a range of hoists (full and stand up), shower chairs, Sara Steady (patient mover), and The Lotus Room with a very large roll-in shower and open bathroom with grab rails. Gokula Stay is fully fenced and is a really comfortable holiday home for all the family, including pets!

Excellent accessibility and disability aids and equipment, great location and your host Shelley is very caring and a great communicator and will make sure you have a wonderful stay! Plus your host does not live on site so you have the entire home to yourself!
