Panoramic view and amenities galore in Ocean Dunes

***As of March 9, 2024, the HOA informed us that they will be shutting down the indoor pool/hot tub area as of April 8th.
The work involves draining the pool (3 days); erecting scaffolding (1 full day) and then having the contractor come in and do the removal of the existing baffles and installation of the new baffles. The contractor estimates this could take 4-5 weeks to complete the phase of the work. Once the work is complete, the scaffolding will be removed; the pool will be filled back up, chemicals balanced and water re-heated. This takes a minimum of 3 days. They estimate the pool and hot tub will not be accessible until at least the second week of May if not later. All involved will do their best to ensure the work is done in as timely a fashion as possible, but there are factors that may be out of our control that could change the timeline. ***

"Ocean Duchesse" is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront 1st floor condominium located next to the pool and gazebo in quiet Kure Beach. The oceanfront primary bedroom has a Queen bed, private full bath and access to the large oceanfront deck. The second bedroom is equipped with a pyramid bunk (twin over full), and the living room has a full sleeper sofa. Plan your meals in the fully furnished kitchen and enjoy them on the deck or at the dining table inside. There is also seating for three at the kitchen pass through bar. This unit also includes a wine refrigerator off of the dining room with more serving space and storage.

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and a shuffleboard court. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events.
