La Villette is a classic Blue Mountain cottage situated on one of the main streets of Katoomba just around the corner from Scenic World and a short 1-minute drive to Katoomba Mall and all its fantastic shops, restaurants and cafes. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests and is a wonderful mountain retreat for families or groups of friends to spend time together.
The house has two living areas, so it is perfect for guests who want to be able to holiday together but still have their own space to relax and enjoy this thoughtfully renovated home which has central heating and cooling throughout.
There is a comfortable informal living room with a Smart TV and free-to-air is available.
At the other end of the house, you will find the formal lounge room which comes equipped with a wood-burning fireplace and Smart TV with nd free-to-air is available.
La Villette has indoor and outdoor dining options with the indoor dining area featuring a large wooden dining table with seating for up to 8 people. Outside on the generous deck is an outdoor dining table that seats up to six guests as well as a small, café-style table that seats two people
If you feel like cooking during your stay, the house comes with a fully equipped kitchen that has been meticulously renovated by your hosts and includes a fridge, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine making it easy to dine in at home. Additionally, the house has a good-sized back deck which is equipped with a gas barbeque.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is set over a single level. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed except for the fourth bedroom which has a bunk bed (double bottom bunk, single top bunk). Each bed has its own hotel-quality white bed linen and electric blankets to ensure you stay warm during the cooler months. The bathrooms are in original condition with bathroom essentials supplied by your host.
There is an internal laundry which is in original condition but features a new washing machine and dryer.
For our guests travelling with young children we offer a complimentary portacot and highchair. Please supply your own linens for the portacot.
Parking at the house is limited to the driveway at the front of the house which will fit one car. In addition, there is ample free street parking available on the street outside the house (subject to availability).

Per our Agreement, a hold of $1000 will be placed on your credit card as a Security Deposit 7 days before your Check-In Date.
