Great position

This is the perfect spot for walking to cylinder or home beach with kids. Easy walk to pub too. Beautiful view. Was well stocked with coffee machine (not listed) and lots of crockery and glasses etc. Has a great little fire pit. Was clean enough but could do with a decobweb and dust. Outside table and chairs took a fair bit of time to get clean enough to use. Towels and sheets a bit stained. In saying that would still stay again just don't expect fancy.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love this house and its location. Shame it hasn’t been cleaned for years. Had to call agent about Wifi which was not existent or poor. Didn’t get a commitment to solving the problem. Rent is very high (most I’ve paid on Straddie) so expected a clean house with wifi. Would also be great if dogs were allowed (provided renters know it’s unfenced) Despite these issues, love the house

Reviewer Comments: Lovely beach house ... enjoyed our stay.. the property really needs pest control, cockroaches in abundance, lots of maintenance and definitely a deep clean, it seems to only get a basic clean in between guests... but it’s in a great location and really private.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With overgrown bushes it was awkward getting in and out of the driveway with cars . They scraped the roof of the car each time we entered or exited. The doona covers needed a wash with marks on them makeup and gekko poo on them . Gekkos were in abundance in this property as were spiders and cockroaches. The lighting was very dark - difficult to see at night . Not enough fans in the living / dining area . The third bedroom was part of the laundry. Water poured in from the gaps in the door when it rained. Location was great but I think a fair bit of maintenance needs to be had.
