When you visit Cherokee, you may want a bit of solitude but you also may want to be close to downtown where a lot of the attractions are.

Poppy's Cottage is in walking distance to the Harrah's Cherokee Casino. At this location, you can hop on the 441/Parkway - The Great Smoky Mountain National Park or Blue Ridge Parkway within minutes. With a short 15 minute drive, you can be in downtown Bryson City or downtown Dillsboro.

What a lovely, bright space! Cozy and light, there is ample seating here in the lovely living room along with a flat-screen TV. Each bedroom is supplied with a smart TV. Pillows are goose feather.

Would you like to grab a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning? The covered porch would love to host you as you gear up for the day!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!
